A knob holding structure according to one aspect of the present disclosure has a holder, a pair of pinching members configured to hold a knob and arranged opposed to each other in the holder, and an elastic member configured to support the pair of pinching members so that each pinching member can be displaced relative to an inner surface of the holder, and to bias the pinching members in a direction so as to approach each other.

The lid is attached to the body to be opened and closed relative to the body. The hook is attached to one of the body and the lid. The engaging part is attached to the other of the body and the lid. The engaging part is accommodated in a recess formed in the hook when the lid is closed relative to the body.

A printer includes a body, a lid pivotably attached to the body, a platen roller attached to the lid, and a lock lever. A printer includes a body, a lid, and a restriction member. The body includes a holder configured to accommodate a roll of a recording sheet. The lid is attached to the body to be opened and closed relative to the body. The restriction member is pivotably attached to the bottom of the holder, and includes a contact part urged toward the interior of the holder. The contact part is urged to contact the peripheral surface of the roll accommodated in the holder.
