A traffic data acquisition unit acquires traffic volume data. A required time acquisition unit acquires an actual value of a required time. A traffic volume calculation unit calculates an inflow traffic volume of vehicles flowing into each using the traffic volume data and the actual value of the required time. A traffic state prediction unit calculates, for each route, a predicted value of the required time in view of the calculated inflow traffic volume and a predicted value of the required time when the inflow traffic volume is changed using a traffic model generated in advance. An amount of change calculation unit calculates, for each route, an amount of change in the predicted value of the required time when the inflow traffic volume is changed.

This compound is capable of lowering the .DELTA.n value of mixed liquid crystals, which have been obtained by adding said compound to nematic liquid crystals widely used as matrix liquid crystals, and elevating the N-I point thereof. Thus it is highly useful in the production of liquid crystal display cells.

A novel tetracyclic cyclohexylcyclohexene derivatives represented by formula: ##STR1## wherein ##STR2## n, X and Y are as defined in claim 1, are disclosed. The compounds are useful as electroptic display materials.

Cyclohexene derivatives

A tetracyclic nematic liquid crystal compound of the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R represents a straight-chained alkyl group carrying one to seven carbon atoms; and ##STR2## has a trans (equatorial-equatorial) configuration; is disclosed. This compound has a high N-I transition temperature and a low S-N transition temperature and is highly useful as an electro-optical display material.
