An amplifier includes: a signal polarity inversion circuit which modulates an input signal and outputs a modulation signal; an amplifier circuit which is constituted from an operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) to amplify the modulation signal and output a current; and a sample-hold circuit having a sampling capacitor which is charged and discharged by selective sampling of the output current of the amplifier circuit and a holding capacitor to which the voltage of the sampling capacitor is transferred.

Amplifier

Provided is a differential amplification device reduced in DC offset voltage. The amplification device amplifies an input signal, and includes a chopper switch circuit which switches the polarity of the input signal between a normal phase and a reverse phase and outputs the input signal, a V-I conversion circuit which is connected to the chopper switch circuit, a capacitance circuit which is connected to the V-I conversion circuit to store electric charges supplied from the V-I conversion circuit, and an amplification circuit which is connected to the V-I conversion circuit to switch the polarity of an input signal between the normal phase and the reverse phase and amplify the input signal.

Differential amplification device

Provided is a leakage current compensation circuit including: a compensation MOS transistor, which has a drain and a source connected to each other, and a bulk connected to a ground terminal, and is configured to generate a compensation current that is equal in magnitude to a leakage current of a MOS transistor of a current output circuit; and a current mirror circuit, which has an input terminal connected to the drain and the source of the compensation MOS transistor, and an output terminal connected to the MOS transistor of the current output circuit. The leakage current compensation circuit includes the MOS transistor for compensation for the leakage current, which has a small area, and is capable of compensating for a gate leakage current.

Leakage current compensation circuit and semiconductor device

Provided are an amplifier circuit capable of reducing DC offset voltage without an increase in chip area and degradation in frequency characteristics, and a multipath nested miller amplifier circuit. The amplifier circuit includes a chopper switching circuit, a sampling circuit configured to sample an output signal from the chopper switching circuit, and a holding circuit configured to hold a signal output from the sampling circuit.
