To dispense a predetermined length of a sheet hygienically. In a sheet dispensing device, a sheet feeding mechanism feeds out a predetermined length for use of a sheet from a sheet dispensing port, and at this time, a part, of the sheet, located upstream of the sheet dispensing port in terms of a feeding direction of the sheet is held by a driving roller and a driven roller. The driven roller is biased by leaf springs to be pressed toward the driving roller. Consequently, the sheet is dispensed while hanging down from the sheet dispensing port. When a user pulls down the hanging sheet while holding it, the sheet is cut from the vicinity of a held part, so that the user can take the predetermined length for use of the sheet hygienically.

Sheet dispensing device

A three-dimensionally shaped round metallic wire having a cross-section non-circular portion in a predetermined portion without performing additional processing and having specified dimensional accuracy and accuracy of form. In an intermediate step in which the round metallic wire is processed in a predetermined three-dimensional shape, a cross-section non-circular portion forming machinewhich forms the cross-section non-circular portion having a non-circular cross-sectional shape in at least one position is included. At the time of bending, the cross-section non-circular portion is held by a wire holding portion of a bending machine, and the bending is performed in the predetermined three-dimensional shape. Holding the cross-section non-circular portion causes relative rotation between the cross-section non-circular portion and the wire holding portion to be suppressed as compared with a case of the cross-section circular shape. Accordingly, bending accuracy in the three-dimensional shape for the round metallic wire is improved.

A rotor () of a rotation angle sensor is configured by forming a band-shaped main body () of a magnetic steel sheet into a cylindrical shape so that a thickness direction of the band-shaped main body () is set as a radial direction. First undulations () are provided at a substantially constant pitch on one arc-shaped edge portion of the band-shaped main body (), and second undulations () are provided at a substantially constant pitch on the other arc-shaped edge portion. A first stator () is disposed to face the first undulations () of the band-shaped main body () of the rotor (), and a second stator () is disposed to face the second undulations ().

Rotation angle sensor

A variable reluctance resolver includes a rotor that rotates about a rotational axis, a plurality of detection coils that detect rotation of the rotor, and a magnetic member that magnetically connects adjacent ones of the detection coils to each other. The magnetic member includes a pair of body portions around which the detection coils are wound, and a connection portion that connects the pair of body portions to each other. Both the body portions and the connection portion have a thin flat shape. The body portions are flat so that a direction of extension of the flat shape is along a rotational axis direction, and the magnetic member has a U shape as viewed from the rotational axis direction.

Variable reluctance resolver and method of producing the variable reluctance resolver

A magnetic resolver includes a stator core made of magnetic material, coils, and a rotor. The stator core has a base plate and protrusions formed integrally with the base plate so as to protrude from a surface of the base plate in the thickness direction. The coils are provided around the respective protrusions. The rotor is disposed so as to face the surface of the base plate with the coils interposed therebetween. The overlapping area between the rotor and each of the protrusions changes with a change in a rotation angle of the rotor relative to the stator core. The stator core has through-holes that pass through the base plate and the respective protrusions in the thickness direction.

Magnetic resolver

A magnetic resolver includes: a plurality of columnar cores disposed on an annular plate; a coil portion disposed around each of the columnar cores; and an annular rotor having a sinusoidal profile that rotates in a plane parallel to the top faces of the columnar cores around a rotation axis that passes through the center of the annular plate. The coil portion may be formed of a patterned coil formed on an annular substrate that has a plurality of through holes made therein through which the plurality of cores are passed, the patterned coil being formed around the through hole.

In a rotor having plural permanent magnets secured on a rotary shaft for use in, e.g., an electric motor which is incorporated preferably into a rack-type electric power steering device, a cylindrical cover is fit on the rotary shaft to cover the external surfaces of the plural permanent magnets, and one or both axial end portions of the cylindrical cover are plastically deformed thereby to secure the cylindrical cover onto the rotary shaft. Thus, the cylindrical cover is firmly secured to the rotary shaft and, even when one or more permanent magnets are separated from the rotary shaft or broken, prevents the separated permanent magnets or the broken fragments from scattering within a housing of the motor.

A horn switch includes a stationary member, a movable member, a spring and a connecting bolt. The stationary member has a stationary contact and is supported on a steering wheel body The movable member has a movable contact and is arranged above the stationary member. The connecting bolt allows downward movements of the movable member and prescribes a distance of the movable contact from the stationary contact. The connecting bolt is provided with a head and a shank. The head abuts against an underside of the stationary member. The shank extends upward from the head to be fastened to a threaded hole in the movable member. Prior to fastening, the connecting bolt is temporarily fixed to the stationary member by latch legs. The latch legs latch a lower surface of the head in a manner to permit the connecting bolt to be fastened to the movable member.
