The present invention addresses the problem of providing a laminate having sufficient delamination prevention performance and simultaneously having an inorganic layer surface imparted with brightness. The laminate of the present invention is a laminate having a polyolefin-based resin layer, a layer for deposition and an inorganic layer in this order, wherein the layer for deposition includes a composition (P) for a layer for deposition and polypropylene (D), the composition (P) for a layer for deposition is obtained by melt-kneading 30 to 85% by weight of isotactic polypropylene (A) and 70 to 15% by weight of a propylene-based copolymer (B), a part or all of the isotactic polypropylene (A) and/or the propylene-based copolymer (B) has been graft-modified with a graft monomer (C), and the propylene-based copolymer (B) contains 45 to 89% by mol of constituent units derived from propylene and 11 to 55% by mol of constituent units derived from at least one &#x3b1;-olefin selected from ethylene and &#x3b1;-olefins of 4 to 20 carbon atoms.

Laminate, packaging material using the same and production process for the same

It is an object of the present invention to provide a modified polypropylene composition for forming laminates, which enables prevention of lowering of interlaminar bond strength even in the case where it is subjected to high-speed molding or subjected to stretch molding, and a laminate using the composition and having excellent interlaminar bond properties. The present invention relates to a modified polypropylene composition comprising a propylene-based polymer (A-1), 0 to 45% by weight of a propylene-based polymer (A-2), an ethylene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (B) having a melt flow rate (MFR; ASTM D1238, 230&#xb0; C., load of 2.16 kg) of 0.01 to 40 g/10 min and a density (ASTM D1505) of not more than 0.900 g/cm, and a specific amount of modified polypropylene (C) a part or all of which has been graft-modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof.

Modified polypropylene composition and laminate using the same

A laminate to be served as seal film for sealing the electrolyte of battery or as protection film for protecting the electrode part of battery, comprising a metal layer, a surface-treated layer formed over the surface of the metal layer and a layer of an adhesive resin of a polyolefin modified by carboxyl group or a group derived therefrom formed over the said surface-treated layer, which laminate is superior in the adhesive strength between the metal layer and the adhesive resin layer and in the fastness to organic polar solvents or to salts and, therefore, does not suffer from occurrence of interlayer separation on contacting with a non-aqueous solvent and, hence, can favorably be used in particular as seal film for sealing the electrolyte of secondary battery.

Laminate, method for preparation thereof, and use thereof

The adhesive ethylene copolymer composition of the invention comprises a specific long-chain branched ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer (or this copolymer and its graft-modified product) and a tackifier (or a specific ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer), and has specific density, MFR, crystallinity and graft quantity. The composition containing the tackifier can form a layer having good adhesive force to polystyrene resins, ABS resin, polyacrylonitrile resins and ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer saponified resins even in an atmosphere of high temperatures. The composition containing the ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer can form a layer having good adhesive force to polyester resins, polycarbonate resins, polyvinylidene chloride resins and ethylene/vinyl acetate saponified resins even in an atmosphere of high temperatures. The other adhesive ethylene copolymer composition of the invention comprises a blend of a graft-modified linear ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer and an olefin elastomer. This composition has excellent heat stability, moldability and transparency, and can form a film layer having good adhesive force to metals and materials of high polarity.

Adhesive ethylene copolymer resin compositions and laminates using the same

The modified polypropylene composition of the invention comprises (A) modified polypropylene having been partially or wholly graft modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, (B) an amorphous or low-crystalline ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer having a specific MFR and a specific density and (C) a styrene elastomer, in a specific ratio. The component (A) is a graft modification product of a propylene homopolymer and/or a graft modification product of a propylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer. The laminate of the invention comprises a composition layer comprising the modified polypropylene composition and a resin layer provided on one or both surfaces of the composition layer. By the use of the modified polypropylene composition as a laminate-forming composition or an adhesive resin composition, there can be obtained a laminate which has excellent interlaminar strength and which can be prevented from lowering of the interlaminar strength even if it is subjected to a heat treatment at a high temperature such as a temperature of 80 to 125&deg; C.

Modified polypropylene composition and laminate using the composition

The adhesive resin composition of this invention comprises (A) 30 to 70 parts by weight of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, (B) 0 to 50 parts by weight of an ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer having an ethylene content of 30 to 95 mole % and a degree of crystallinity by X-ray of not higher than 40%, (C) 0 to 50 parts by weight of a modified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer having an ethylene content of 30 to 95 mole % and a degree of crystallinity by X-ray of not higher than 40%, (D) 0 to 30 parts by weight of modified polyethylene, (E) 1 to 20 parts by weight of a tackifier and (F) 1 to 20 parts by weight of a styrene polymer, characterized in that (B)&plus;(C)&equals;15 to 60 parts by weight, (C)&plus;(D)&gE;2 parts by weight, and (A)/&lsqb;(B)&plus;(C)&rsqb;&equals;0.5 to 3. This composition has excellent adhesion to the styrene resin or a saponified product of the ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, and a laminated body of these resins using this composition as an adhesive layer has excellent post-processability.

Adhesive resin composition

Disclosed is a specific adhesive polyethylene composition comprising &lsqb;1&rsqb; a modified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer resin or elastomer obtained by modifying a specific ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer resin or elastomer, each of which comprises ethylene and an &agr;-olefin of 3 to 20 carbon atoms, with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or anhydride, ester, amide, imide or metallic salt derivative of a unsaturated carboxylic acid thereof, &lsqb;2&rsqb; an unmodified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer resin and/or an unmodified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer elastomer and &lsqb;3&rsqb; a tackifier. Also disclosed is a multi-layer laminated film of 3 or more layers in which a layer of the above composition is interposed between an ethylene polymer layer and either a polyamide resin layer, an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer layer or a layer of a mixture of polyamide resin and ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer. The adhesive polyethylene composition shows excellent adhesion strength to ethylene polymers, polyamide resins and ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymers, high heat-sealing strength and heat resistance. The multi-layer laminated film shows excellent strength, heat resistance and gas barrier properties, and besides this film has heat shrinkability, so that the film is suitably used as a shrink film.

Adhesive polyethylene compositions and multi-layer laminated films using the same

An adhesive ethylene copolymer resin composition blend of a modified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer obtained by graft-modifying an unmodified linear ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer comprising ethylene and an a-olefin of 3 to 20 carbon atoms with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, or the unmodified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer and the modified ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer and an olefin elastomer (F) The linear ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer being prepared by the use of an olefin polymerization catalyst including a Group IV transition metal compound (a) containing a ligand having cyclopentadienyl skeleton and an organoaluminum oxy-compound (b). The adhesive ethylene copolymer resin composition can be used as a layer to form a laminate with a layer of a polar material or a layer of a metal. The polar material layer can be a layer of an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer, a layer of a polyamide or a layer of a polyester.

An apparatus for loading and unloading a transporter vehicle by which at least half the load is loaded or unloaded at a time comprises a travelling frame which is mounted to be moved by a travel drive device along rails provided on a fixed frame. The travelling frame carries a fork support member, provided with a plurality of lifting forks, which support member can be raised and lowered with respect to the travelling frame by a vertical drive device. The fork support member has respective projections mounted at its opposite ends which are guided for vertical movement in tilting frames mounted on respective depending portions of the travelling frame. The fork support member can be tilted about an axis transverse to the guide track by actuation of a tilt drive mechanism which drives the tilting frames to pivot the projections. The fork support member can additionally be shifted transversely to the guide track by a shifting device.
