The invention provides a grease composition for constant velocity joints, which contains (a) a base oil, (b) a diurea thickener, (c) benzotriazole and/or a derivative thereof, and (d) a phosphate and/or an amine salt thereof; and a constant velocity joint where the grease composition is packed.

The invention provides a grease composition suitable for being packed in roll bearings to be lubricated at elevated temperatures and a bearing in which the above-mentioned grease composition is packed. In the grease composition containing a base oil, a urea-containing thickener and an additive, the additive includes an overbased metal sulfonate and the amount of the overbased metal sulfonate is 0.05 to 1.00 mass % with respect to the total amount of the grease composition. The bearing has the above-mentioned grease composition sealed therein.

A grease is provided which has an improved inflow property of the grease into a lubrication unit and has a long life when used for bearings even under a high temperature environment. The invention provides a grease composition comprising a base oil consisting of a fluorinated oil and an antirust agent, wherein said antirust agent comprises an aliphatic dibasic acid salt of the formula (1) in an amount of not less than 0.1% by mass and less than 1.0% by mass based on the total mass of the grease composition:(CH)(COO)M&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein n is an integer of 1 to 19, M is an alkali or alkaline earth metal, m is 2 when M is an alkali metal and m is 1 when M is an alkaline earth metal, and a bearing wherein the grease is packed. A grease composition for constant-velocity joints comprising: (a) a base oil, (b) a diurea thickener, (c) a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, (d) a sulfurized molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate, (e) a zinc dialkyldithiocarbamate, and (f) a sulfur-nitrogen extreme pressure additive is provided.

Grease composition for constant-velocity joints and constant-velocity joint enclosing the same

A lubricating grease composition having a basic grease composition containing a synthetic oil as a base oil, and a lithium soap as a thickener. 0.5 to 10% by weight with respect to the basic grease composition total amount of at least one additive selected from the group consisting of an organic molybdenum compound, an organic fatty acid compound or an derivative thereof, and an organic phosphorus compound is added is provided. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a lubricating grease composition capable of providing excellent lubricating characteristics, fretting wear resistance property, and impact resistance property.

A method for preparing urea grease excellent in low noise properties comprises the step of adding a base oil in which an amine (or an isocyanate) is dissolved or dispersed, to a base oil in which an isocyanate (or an amine) is dissolved or dispersed, in the form of liquid drops having a diameter of not more than 300 .mu.m to react the isocyanate with the amine; or the step of directly contacting liquid drops comprising a base oil in which an isocyanate is dissolved or dispersed and having a diameter of not more than 300 .mu.m with liquid drops comprising a base oil in which an amine is dissolved or dispersed and having a diameter of not more than 300 .mu.m to react the isocyanate with the amine. The method permits the production of urea grease excellent in low noise properties at a low cost.
