An optical measuring device for measuring light emitted from a sample includes a container cavity for receiving a container in which the sample is enclosed; a light detection unit for detecting light from the sample; a light guide path for guiding the light from the sample to the light detection unit; and a light absorbing unit for absorbing incident light. An end of the light guide path to receive the incident light faces the container cavity, a light exit end of the light guide path faces the light detection unit, and the light absorbing unit covers the perimeter of the light guide path other than the light-receiving-end and the light exit end thereof.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical member and the like which enable suppression of diffusion of stray light due to a pigment even when the optical member and the like are used adjacent to a light guiding part through which incident light is transmitted. The optical member is configured to be used adjacent to the light guiding part through which the incident light is transmitted and to attenuate the incident light. The optical member has a dispersed carbon particle part that is formed as a result of dispersion of carbon particles in a particular region in a silicone resin. The carbon particles are stray light diffusion suppressing particles for suppressing the intensity of light being incident onto the carbon particles and diffused.

A method for producing an organic microdisk structure, which is characterized by comprising: a cladding layer formation step 1 wherein a cladding layeris formed by printing a first inkthat contains a fluorine-containing hyperbranched polymer on a substrateby an inkjet method; a core layer formation step 2 wherein a core layeris formed by printing a second inkthat contains a laser dye and a triazine-based hyperbranched polymer containing no fluorine on the cladding layerby an inkjet method; and an etching step 3 wherein the cladding layeris etched using a solventthat dissolves only the fluorine-containing hyperbranched polymer. Consequently, an unconventional novel method for producing an organic microdisk structure with use of an inkjet method is able to be provided.

In order to carry out various analyses at high accuracy in a site where analysis is needed using a disposable microchip, the microchip is disposed on a display of a tablet terminal device, and a sample or specimen is dropped into a flow path of the microchip to trigger a reaction of the sample in the microchip. Light emitted from the display of the tablet terminal device is applied to the microchip, and the reaction caused by the applied light in the microchip is measured. When an induced fluorescence method using the applied light is adopted as a measuring method, fluorescence that corresponds to the reaction is observed, and detected by, for example, a built-in camera of the tablet terminal device. The detection signal is analyzed by an arithmetic unit of the tablet terminal device.

A laser light source for emitting excitation light, a sample case, a photomultiplier tube, a fluorescence collecting optical system and so forth are embedded in a resin material that is transparent to the excitation light and the light including fluorescence emitted from a sample. The resin material is provided in at least part of a light path that guides the fluorescence in the fluorescence collecting optical system, and this resin forms a housing that holds the laser light source, the fluorescence collecting optical system, the photomultiplier and so forth. A pigment having wavelength characteristics for absorbing the excitation light, Raman light generated from the resin, and so forth is contained substantially in a uniform manner in a resin region that surrounds the light path through which the excitation light and the light including the fluorescence pass.

A light measuring arrangement maintains the initial filtering function of an optical filter having a dye dispersed therein. The light measuring arrangement includes a measuring unit configured to measure an intensity of light emitted from a measurement target at a predetermined wavelength.
