A vehicle seat includes: a seat frame; a seat pad; and a planar body configured to support, from a backside, the seat pad, and including a high-elongation part more easily extensible than other planar-body part. The planar body includes a low-density region, a high-density region, and a medium-density region in which constituent yarns are placed more thickly than the low-density region, but more thinly than the high-density region, the medium-density region being provided between the low-density region and the high-density region adjacent to each other. The low-density region is placed in the high-elongation part so that the high-elongation part is easily extensible. The high-density region and the medium-density region are placed in the other planar-body part so that the other planar-body part is less easily extensible. The medium-density region in the other planar-body part is adjacent to the high-elongation part.

Vehicle seat

The present invention can include a frame member which attaches the monitor panel at a back side of a vehicle seat, a skin member covering the vehicle seat, a pad member having a seat outer shape, the frame member is harder than the pad member, and the frame member is arranged at a back side of the vehicle seat in place of the pad member and covered by the skin member and the monitor panel is attached to the frame member through the skin member.

A process of core molding is disclosed, which permits increasing the positioning accuracy of a base core and a bonded core relative to each other and also avoids handling the first molded base core outside the die to preclude such trouble as breakage of the common die. By the process, a complete core is obtained, which comprises a base core and a bonded core positioned in and bonded to the base core. The base core is molded in a molding space which is defined by engaging a die element and a common die with each other. After removing the die element from the common die while leaving the molded base core in the common die, a different die element is engaged with the common die to define a different molding space for molding a bonded core. The bonded core is bonded to the base core as it is molded.

A belt anchor incorporating seat track structure is employed in an occupant restraining seatbelt system for a vehicle and incorporates a seatbelt anchor for retaining a belt in the seatbelt system. The structure includes a lower rail which is rigidly secured to the vehicle and an upper rail which is movable along the lower rail in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A seat of the vehicle is rigidly secured to the upper rail through a lower arm. The structure further includes a lock pin which extends through the lower arm and the lower rail. The load which acts on the belt anchor is transmitted to the lower rail through the pin. In addition, one end portion of the upper rail extends so as to overlap one end portion of the lower rail, so that the load acting on the belt anchor is further transmitted to the lower rail through the overlapping portions. Accordingly, the load which acts on the belt anchor is transmitted to the lower rail while being dispersed and is supported thereby, so that the load is reliably supported by the lower rail even in an emergency situation of the vehicle.

A belt anchor incorporating a seat track structure for a vehicle whereby the load applied when a emergency situation occurs is supported by the body of the vehicle through a seat mounted on the vehicle and the seat is supported on the vehicle body in such a manner as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. An upper rail which is rigidly secured to the seat is supported on a lower rail rigidly secured to the vehicle body in such a manner that the upper rail is movable along the lower rail in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle through first and second rotary support means. A belt anchor is rigidly secured to the upper rail, and a guide plate is rigidly secured to one edge portion of the lower rail in such a manner as to accommodate the second rotary support means defined by a plurality of balls and to clamp one edge portion of the upper rail by these balls. The other edge portion of the lower rail is formed such as to have a substantially U-shaped cross-section. One edge portion of the belt anchor is disposed within this U-shaped portion, and a slide piece is disposed between the U-shaped portion and the edge portion of the belt anchor. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the upper and lower rails from moving relative to each other in the lateral direction of the vehicle.

A belt anchor incorporating seat track structure for a vehicle designed to support a seat on the body of the vehicle in such a manner that the seat is movable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. An upper rail which is rigidly secured to the seat and to which a belt anchor is rigidly secured is adapted to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle along a lower rail supported on the vehicle body. The lower rail has a bent portion formed at the upper end thereof, and one end of the belt anchor is received in this bent portion. An extended portion is formed on a bracket which is employed to rigidly secure the lower rail to the vehicle body, the extended portion being rigidly secured on the outer periphery of the bent portion. Accordingly, the bent portion of the lower rail is strengthened.
