Provided are a bisphenol represented by the general formula (1), a method for producing the bisphenol, and a polyarylate resin, a (meth)acrylate compound and an epoxy resin which are derived from the bisphenol. A spiral wound type membrane element is formed by winding independent or continuous envelope-like membranes around the peripheral surface of a water collection pipe and interposing raw water spacers between the envelope-like membranes. When running, raw water is supplied from at least the periphery side of the spiral wound type membrane element and permeate is taken out from an opening end of the water collection pipe. In back wash reverse filtration, permeate is introduced from the opening end of the water collection pipe and permeate guided out from the peripheral surface of the water collection pipe is discharged from at least the periphery side of the spiral wound type membrane element.

Spiral wound type membrane element, running method and washing method thereof

There are provided a deproteinized natural rubber latex which comprises a purified product of proteolytically treated natural rubber latex and contains fine particles of natural rubber latex, a deproteinized natural rubber which comprises a dehydrated product of the deproteinized natural rubber latex, and a process for the production of deproteinized natural rubber latex which comprises subjecting a latex solution prepared by (1) adding water and/or a surfactant to a natural rubber latex and then proteolytically treating the resulting latex solution or (2) proteolytically treating a natural rubber latex and then adding water and/or a surfactant to the treated natural rubber latex, to purification using a rotary plate membrane separation apparatus. The deproteinized natural rubber latex contains substantially no protein, is excellent in film-forming property, and provides a raw rubber film having excellent green strength, and the process can produce the deproteinized natural rubber latex in a high yield with high production efficiency.

Deproteinized natural rubber latex and its production process

A membrane separation apparatus comprising: a cylindrical case provided with an outlet for a membrane permeated fluid; a plurality of tubular or capillary membranes which are inserted into the cylindrical case in a substantially parallel state with each other and in a closely bundled state, the membranes each other and also the bundled membranes and the cylindrical case being bonded and fixed with a casting resin at both end portions thereof; a cap having a nozzle for a feed inlet and a nozzle for a membrane permeated fluid outlet, provided at one end of the cylindrical case; and a cap having a nozzle for a concentrated fluid provided at another end of the cylindrical case, wherein at least one open end of the tubular or capillary membranes is arranged with a slope with respect to the axis of the cylindrical case, and the nozzle for the feed inlet and the nozzle for the membrane permeated fluid are provided on the substantially same axis.
