A pedal-driven exercise machine is designed for an exerciser in a seated position to do pedaling. The pedal-driven exercise machine is equipped with a main body portion, a crank unit that is rotatably supported by the main body portion, a pedal unit that is rotatably supported by the crank unit, and a foot space securing unit that secures a foot space at a foot of the exerciser by retreating the pedal unit from the foot of the exerciser when the pedal-driven exercise machine is out of use.

Pedal-driven exercise machine

A tolerance ring includes a cylindrical main body, which has an inner circumferential surface and an outer circumferential surface, and a plurality of protuberances, which protrudes outward in a radial direction from the inner circumferential surface of the main body. The main body includes a recess that extends from an end of the main body to at least one of the protuberances and communicates with an inside of the at least one of the protuberances.

Tolerance ring

A shaft coupling structure includes a shaft, a sleeve, into which the shaft is inserted, and a tolerance ring. The tolerance ring includes a cylindrical main body and a plurality of protuberances, which protrudes outward in a radial direction from an inner circumferential surface of the main body. The tolerance ring is fitted between an outer circumferential surface of the shaft and an inner circumferential surface of the sleeve. A communication passage that connects an inside and an outside of each protuberance is provided between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft and the main body.

Shaft coupling structure

A purpose is to render a gripping operation of grip tabs more stable. A hose clamp includes a clamp body formed by bending a plate spring into an annular shape while two ends of the plate spring are caused to cross each other on a circumferential plane and grip tabs formed to be raised radially outward from both ends of the clamp body, respectively. An expanded-diameter state of the clamp body is retained when a locking claw is locked by a catch. The clamp body is released from the expanded-diameter state when a gripping operation is further carried out in this state. The second grip tab has a distal end formed to be wider than a distal end of the first grip tab. The distal ends of the grip tabs are bent in respective directions in which the distal ends depart from each other with respect to a thicknesswise direction, thereby serving as bent portions for the gripping operation, respectively.

Hose clamp

A purpose is to increase a clamping force without increase in a plate thickness. A wide region (X) is formed at one of lengthwise sides to be relatively wider and has portions bifurcated by an opening (). A narrow region (X) is formed at the other lengthwise side to be relatively narrower and has a portion passed between the bifurcated portions. Both widthwise side edges of the wide region (X) are formed with respective flanges () by bending and a bead () is formed on a widthwise middle of the narrow region (X). The flanges () and the bead () are set so that a change in a section modulus is substantially symmetric about a Y axis that is a lengthwise central axis of the hose clamp.

A torque limiter is configured from a ring body and a spring-form part provided in the ring body. The ring body includes a band-form metal plate and is bent approximately into a C-shape along the circumferential direction of a motor shaft and a lock holder. The spring-form part is formed so as to be capable of radial elastic deformation. The spring-form part is configured from main protrusions arranged in a compressed state between the motor shaft and the lock holder, and from sub-protrusions arranged in a non-compressed state. Further, grease is stored in a part or all of the concavities formed by the main protrusions and the sub-protrusions.

Torque limiter, variable transmission ratio device, and tolerance ring

A hose clamp includes a clamp body formed by bending a plate spring into an annular shape while two ends of the plate spring are caused to cross, grip tabs formed to be raised radially outward from both ends of the clamp body, respectively and an expanded-diameter state retainer formed integrally on the clamp body or the tabs and capable of retaining an expanded-diameter state of the clamp body and releasing the clamp body from the expanded-diameter state by relative movement of both tabs in an axial direction of the clamp body with a gripping operation applied to both tabs. The tabs have respective distal ends, one of which has a larger width than the other. The distal ends are bent circumferentially outward into bent portions spaced from each other. The bent portions are insertable into positioning recesses formed in opposite surfaces of a gripping tool, respectively.

A hose clamp for preventing a leak during tightening of a hose includes a clamp body of a strip-shaped leaf spring material with an annular shape, and a pair of operation pieces. The clamp body maintained in a diameter expansion state by a locking claw of the operation piece engaged with an engagement concavity of the other operation piece. The engagement released by bringing the operation piece close to the other operation piece and moving the operation piece in the opposing direction in an axial direction of the clamp body, whereby reducing the clamp body diameter. An expansion restricting piece restricts divergence of both the operation pieces in opposite directions in the axial direction of the clamp body. Further, a tilt prevention section which prevents the clamp body from being obliquely assembled to a hose during tightening of the hose is provided.

A spring seat member includes a seat body having a seat portion and a shaft portion extending from the seat portion, and attachment members attached to the seat body. The spring seat member is attached to a coil spring in a state where the attachment members are attached to the seat body. The shaft portion has a groove on the outer periphery thereof that extends in the circumferential direction. The attachment members are provided with engaging portions that engage with the groove of the shaft portion. The engaging portions are selectively and elastically deformable inward or outward in the radial direction of the shaft portion. The groove has an inner wall facing the seat portion. The inner wall has an inclined surface. The inclined surface is inclined radially outward of the shaft portion as the distance from the seat portion in an extending direction of the shaft portion increases.

Spring seat member and spring assembly equipped with same

This tolerance ring, which is for a torque transmission device, preferably has a ring body that comprises an elastic plate and is roughly a hollow cylindrical shape having a pair of edges that extend in the axial direction. The ring body has: a plurality of protrusions that are arranged along the peripheral direction and preferably protrude in the radial direction; a first region having a number of the protrusions including the pair of protrusions adjacent to the pair of edges; and that is positioned at the diametrically opposite side from the first region. The pair of protrusions has the same rigidity as one of the protrusions of the second region.

This torque limiter is configured from a ring body and a spring-form part provided in the ring body. A hose clamp for preventing a leak during tightening of a hose includes a clamp body with a strip-shaped leaf spring having an annular shape, and a pair of operation pieces. The clamp body maintained in a diameter expansion state by a locking claw of the operation piece engaged with an engagement concavity of the operation piece of the clamp body. The locking claw is released by bringing the operation piece on one side close to the operation piece on the other side and moving the operation piece on one side with respect to the operation piece on the other side in the opposing direction in an axial direction of the clamp body, reducing the clamp body in diameter. A leak prevention piece presses a hose during tightening of the hose at an end portion of the operation piece on the other side of the clamp body.

A hose clamp includes a body elastically deformable between a closed-diameter state and an opened-diameter state, a first grip piece, a second grip piece, a lock portion located on either the first or second grip piece, a lock receiving portion located on the other grip piece side and elastically displaced together with the lock portion when the grip pieces are caused to come close to each other, thereby being locked to the lock portion by a subsequent return operation. The lock receiving portion holds the body in the opened-diameter state when in a locked state, and a restricting portion is capable of restricting displacement of both grip pieces in reverse of the direction of the elastic displacement. Either the first or second grip piece formed with the restricting portion has a distal end located lower than a distal end of the other grip piece when the body is in the closed-diameter state.

A hose clamp has a clamp body, operation pieces, an engaging claw, a receiving portion, an arch shaped opening and a slide guide portion. The clamp body is composed of a plate spring member bent into a ring shape. The operation piece has two legs at one end of the clamp body, and has an operation portion at ends of the legs. The operation piece has a leg at the other end of the clamp body, and has an operation portion at an end portion of the leg. The receiving portion is formed on the operation portion and can engage with the engaging claw. The arch shaped opening is formed on the operation portion, and allows the engaging claw to pass therethrough. The engaging claw and the slide guide portion are disposed on one side of the leg of the operation piece. The slide guide portion contacts with the leg in order to make the engaging claw be opposed to the arch shaped opening.

Hose clamps

A hose clip for clamping a hose includes a clamping body formed by bending a band-shaped spring plate into a circular form. A frame-shaped first grip is formed at one end of the body so as to protrude radially outward, and a second grip is formed at the other end of the body so as to protrude radially outward and so as to oppose the first grip when moved through an inside of the first grip. A locking protrusion protrudes from the first grip toward the second grip, and a locking opening is formed in the second grip so as to be engaged with the protrusion. When the protrusion engages the locking opening, the first and second grips are held close to each other such that the body is held in a spread state. The protrusion disengages from the locking opening when the first and second grips are displaced radially relative to each other. The first grip defines a releasing space below the protrusion so that a releasing tool is penetrated through the releasing space at the first grip side to release the protrusion from engagement with the locking opening. The locking opening includes a rectangular opening section formed in the second grip. The protrusion projects outward through the opening while engaging the locking opening.
