A connector body includes mating guide parts formed on each longitudinal end and mating with counterpart mating guide parts formed on both longitudinal ends of a counterpart connector body of a counterpart connector. Each reinforcing bracket includes a pair of left/right slide guides disposed on the mating guide parts and being engageable with a pair of left/right slide engagement parts of a counterpart reinforcing bracket mounted to a counterpart mating guide part. One reinforcing bracket further includes a receiving member capable of emerging/submerging. When the counterpart mating guide part is mated with the mating guide part, the receiving member submerges. When the slide engagement part engages with the slide guide and the counterpart mating guide part slides on the mating guide part, the receiving member emerges and latches the counterpart mating guide part.

Connector and connector assembly

A connector includes a connector body, terminals installed in the connector body, and lock devices fit to the connector body. The connector body includes mating guide parts that are formed on both ends of the connector body in a longitudinal direction and are fit in mating-connector-side mating guide parts formed on both ends of a mating connector body of a mating connector in the longitudinal direction. The lock devices include sliders attached to the mating guide parts to be slidable in the longitudinal direction of the connector body. The sliders each include a pair of right and left locking protrusions. When the connector body is mated with the mating connector body, the locking protrusions engage with mating reinforcement brackets installed on the mating connector body.

Provided is a connector comprising: a connector body; a terminal attached to the connector body; and a slider attached to the connector body, wherein the connector body includes mating-guide parts formed on two ends, in the longitudinal direction, of the connector body; the mating guide parts mate with counterpart mating-guide parts formed on the two ends, in the longitudinal direction, of a counterpart connector body of a counterpart connector; the slider includes a front-side locking part and a rear-side locking part, and is slidable, in the longitudinal direction of the connector body, between a locked position and an unlocked position; and once the connector body mates with the counterpart connector body, and the slider slides and thus reaches the locked position, the front-side locking part and the rear-side locking part engage with a right-and-left pair of to-be-locked parts of the counterpart locking member attached to each of the counterpart mating-guide part.

A base member is made of thermoplastic resin. A plurality of terminals are each inserted in a corresponding one of through holes formed through the base member. The terminals include fixed portions positioned on an upper surface of the base member. The base member includes a first fixing portion integrally formed with the base member. The first fixing portion has a covering portion overlapping with the fixed portion and fixing the fixed portion to the upper surface of the base member.

The present disclosure includes: housing for housing terminals; first lever which is mounted in housing to allow change of position between an initial position and a lock position, and which allows locking a mating lock member of a mating connector in the lock position; and second lever which is mounted in housing to allow change of position between an initial position and an auxiliary lock position, and which allows locking first lever at the lock position in the auxiliary lock position.

A receptacle connector is provided with a slider and a first securing metal fitting. The slider can slide between a locking position where the slider locks a plug connector and a lock releasing position where the slider is separated from the plug connector to an outer side in a longitudinal direction such that locking of the plug connector is released. The first securing metal fitting has the hook, and the slider has the first engageable part that engages with the hook to retain the slider in a selected position.

The connecting member is attached to the housing that connects with the terminal member of the card. The cover member is connected to the housing and forms a card housing space between the housing, and is attached to a substrate.

A card connector includes a housing that houses a card provided with a terminal member, a connection terminal that attaches to the housing and contacts the terminal member of the card, a cover member that attaches to the housing and forms a card housing space between the housing, wherein the cover member is provided with a locking member to lock the card housed within the card housing space; the locking member is a leaf spring member with a cantilever form, and provides a locking main body part integrally connected to the cover member and which extends in the insertion direction of the card, and a locking ridged part connected to the tip of the locking main body part, and which protrudes inward toward the cover member; and the locking ridged part inserts into a recessed part formed on the edge of the card housed in the card housing space.

A card connector that includes a housing that houses a card provided with a terminal member, a connecting terminal attached to the housing that connects with the terminal member of the card, a cover member connected to the housing and which forms a card housing space between the housing, a card connector attached to a substrate. The cover member includes a top panel part, a plurality of side panel parts established from the side edge of the top panel part, and a fixed side that extends from the bottom end edge of the side panel part. At least one of the fixed sides is connected to a heat transfer pad arranged on the substrate. The top panel part contacts the top surface of the card housed within the card housing space and is provided with a heat transfer improving part that improves heat transfer from the card to the top panel part.

The Present Disclosure discloses a card tray including a top panel portion facing the opposite face of a card having terminal members on one face, a front panel portion standing erect at the front edge of the top panel portion and facing the front end of the card, and a rear panel portion standing erect at the rear edge of the top panel portion and facing the rear end of the card. The card tray further includes a notch portion formed in the front panel portion so as to expose at least a portion of the front end of the card, and a card holding spring portion disposed near the rear panel portion, biasing the card forward and applying pressure to the front end of the card in a portion other than the notch portion of the front panel portion. The card is grasped longitudinally to expose the entire face of the card on the terminal member side.

Card tray and tray connector

The housing has a guide rail protruding from the upper face of the bottom wall portion and extending towards the rear end portion. The guide rail includes a wide portion near the front end portion and a narrow portion near the rear end portion being narrower in width than the wide portion. The sliding portion has a recessed guide groove slidably engaging the guide rail. The guide groove engages the wide portion when the card-type unit is in the locked position and engages the narrow portion instead of the wide portion when the card-type unit is in the ejection position.

Connector

A card connector comprises a housing, an auxiliary urging member and a card guide mechanism. The housing is provided with connection terminals connected to a card housed therein. The auxiliary urging member is capable of urging the card in a direction opposite to an insertion direction of the card. The card guide mechanism is provided with an urging member capable of urging the card in the direction opposite to the insertion direction of the card. The urging member and the auxiliary urging member are also configured to cooperate with each other to move the card.

A rear side connection terminal arranged along the back end edge of a housing is provided with a base part in which at least a portion is embedded in a bottom wall part of the housing, a contact arm part in a cantilever shape in which a tip end extends slanted upwards towards a front end of the housing, a contact part that is connected to a tip end of the contact arm part and that contacts with a terminal member of the card, and a contact arm support part that includes a curved part that projects rearward with a bottom side front end coupled to a back end of the base part and a top side front end coupled to a back end of the contact arm part.

Electrical connector

A slide member includes a side edge holding part, which extends towards the front end edge of the housing, and a front end holding part, which is connected to the front end of the side edge holding part and extends in the transverse direction of the housing. The slide member is able to slide forward and backward along one side edge of the bottom wall part of the housing. The housing contains a mistaken insertion prevention convex part which the front end or rear end of a mistakenly inserted card contacts.
