A temperature control system includes a heater core utilizing heat of a heat medium; an engine heat exchanger utilizing exhaust heat of an engine to heat the heat medium; a condenser utilizing heat other than the exhaust heat to heat the heat medium; a heat circuit having the heater core and condenser; a communication flow path making the engine heat exchanger communicate with the heat circuit; and a connection state switching mechanism switching a flow state of the heat medium, between a first state and a second state. In the first state, the heat medium flows through the heat circuit, while flowing through the heater core, and in the second state, the heat medium flows through the heat circuit without flowing through the heater core. The heat circuit is arranged at a front of a passenger compartment, and the engine heat exchanger is arranged at a rear of the compartment.

An in-vehicle temperature control system includes a refrigeration circuit including an inter-media heat exchanger that dissipates heat from a refrigerant to a heat medium, the refrigeration circuit being configured to realize a refrigeration cycle, and a heat circuit including a heater core, the inter-media heat exchanger, and an engine heat circuit. The heat circuit includes an adjusting valve. When heating is performed by using heat obtained by the refrigeration cycle, the adjusting valve is controlled to a first state where the heat medium flows into the heater core from the inter-media heat exchanger, and when heating is performed by using heat obtained by an internal combustion engine, the adjusting valve is controlled to a second state where the heat medium flows into the heater core from the engine heat circuit.

In-vehicle temperature control system

An in-vehicle temperature adjustment system includes: a refrigeration circuit including an inter-medium heat exchanger and a vaporizer that vaporizes the cooling medium to achieve a refrigeration cycle by circulating a cooling medium; a thermal circuit including a heater core, the inter-medium heat exchanger, an engine thermal circuit, and a radiator to circulate the heating medium; and a controller that controls a distribution state of the heating medium. The thermal circuit includes: a first branch portion at which a coolant flowing out of the engine thermal circuit and the inter-medium heat exchanger is divided into coolants flowing into the heater core and into the radiator; a second branch portion at which a coolant flowing out of the heater core is divided into coolants flowing into the inter-medium heat exchanger and into the engine thermal circuit; a first adjustment valve and a second adjustment valve.

A vehicle-mounted temperature controller includes a first heat circuit having a heat exchanger for a heat generating device and a first heat exchanger; a second heat circuit having a heat medium flow path of an engine and a second heat exchanger; and a refrigeration circuit having the first heat exchanger to make the refrigerant evaporate and the second heat exchanger to make the refrigerant condense. A cooling apparatus of a vehicle driving system for driving a vehicle according to the invention activates a heat pump to cool a hybrid system by cooling medium and flows an engine cooling water in an engine water circulation passage through a condenser to cool the cooling medium by the engine cooling water at the condenser when an engine water circulation condition is satisfied. The engine water circulation condition is a condition that a heat pump activation condition is satisfied, and an engine cooling condition is not satisfied. The heat pump activation condition is a condition that a process of cooling the hybrid system by the cooling medium of the heat pump is requested. The engine cooling condition is a condition that a process of cooling an internal combustion engine by the engine cooling water is requested.

Cooling apparatus of vehicle driving system

A vehicle-mounted temperature controller, including: a first heat circuit having a heater core used for heating and a first heat exchanger and configured so that a first heat medium is circulated through the first heat exchanger; a refrigeration circuit having the first heat exchanger condensing the refrigerant and an evaporator evaporating the refrigerant, and configured to operate a refrigeration cycle; and a heat medium flow path of an internal combustion engine configured to communicate with the first heat circuit so that the first heat medium circulates through the heat medium flow path. A vehicle-mounted temperature controller includes a low temperature circuit and a refrigeration circuit. The low temperature circuit has a heat generating equipment heat exchanger exchanging heat with heat generating equipment, a radiator, a first heat exchanger, and a three-way valve. The refrigeration circuit has a second heat exchanger discharging heat from the refrigerant to a high temperature circuit to make the refrigerant condense, and the first heat exchanger making the refrigerant absorb heat from the cooling water to make the refrigerant evaporate. The low temperature circuit includes a first partial circuit through which the cooling water flows through the radiator and the first heat exchanger, and a second partial circuit through which the cooling water flows through the heat generating equipment heat exchanger without passing through the radiator and the first heat exchanger. The cooling water circulates simultaneously and separately at these first partial circuit and second partial circuit.

A vehicle-mounted temperature controller has a first heat circuit and a refrigeration circuit. The first heat circuit has a first radiator exchanging heat with outside air, a first heat exchanger, and a first pump, and configured so that a first heat medium is circulated therethrough. The refrigeration circuit has the first heat exchanger discharging heat from the refrigerant to a first heat medium to make a refrigerant condense, a second heat exchanger absorbing heat to the refrigerant to thereby make the refrigerant evaporate and to cool an object to be cooled, and a compressor, and is configured so that the refrigerant circulates through the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger and thereby a refrigeration cycle is realized. When the object to be cooled starts being cooled, the compressor is started up after the first pump is started up.

A vehicle-mounted temperature controller used in a vehicle having a motor, a battery, and a PCU is provided with a low temperature circuit and a refrigeration circuit. The low temperature circuit has a battery heat exchanger, a PCU heat exchanger, a radiator, and a chiller, and the cooling water circulates through them. The refrigeration circuit has a condenser and the chiller absorbing heat from the cooling water to the refrigerant, and the refrigerant circulates through them. The low temperature circuit is configured to be able to switch connection states between a first state where the battery heat exchanger and the chiller are connected, the PCU heat exchanger and the radiator are connected, and the battery heat exchanger and the chiller are not connected to the PCU heat exchanger and the radiator, and a second state where the chiller, the PCU heat exchanger, and the radiator are connected.

A temperature control apparatus of a vehicle according to the invention stops activating a heat pump and supplies heat exchanging liquid from an engine passage to a battery passage when a warming of the battery is requested and a temperature of the heat exchanging liquid flowing out of the engine passage is equal to or lower than a permitted upper limit temperature. On the other hand, the apparatus activates the heat pump to cool the heat exchanging liquid and supplies the cooled heat exchanging liquid from the engine passage to the battery passage when the warming of the battery is requested and the temperature of the heat exchanging liquid flowing out of the engine passage is higher than the permitted upper limit temperature.
