A recording device has: at least one medium storage section that stores a medium on which to perform recording; a recording section positioned vertically above the medium storage section, the recording section performing recording on the medium; and a reversing path by which the medium that passed through a position at which the medium faces the recording section is reversed in a direction including a vertically upward component by being transported in a transport direction including a vertically downward component and being made to pass through a curved reversing path curved so as to be convex downward. When only one medium storage section is provided, an overlap is found between at least part of the one medium storage section and at least part of the curved reversing path when viewed horizontally. When a plurality of medium storage sections are provided, an overlap is found between at least part of the topmost medium storage section in the vertical direction and at least part of the curved reversing path when viewed horizontally.

Recording device

A recording device has: a recording head configured to perform recording on a medium; a medium storage below the recording head configured to store the medium to be recoded; a supply path comprising a first curved supply path curved so as to be convex upward and transporting the medium fed out of the medium storage in a reversed direction via the first curved supply path; and a reversing path comprising a second curved path curved so as to be convex downward and transporting the recorded medium into a direction including a vertically upward component via second curved path from a direction including a vertically downward component; wherein the supply path joins the reversing path, and the first curved path and the second curved path overlap when viewed horizontally.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head ejecting a liquid to a medium, a wiping mechanism wiping a liquid ejection surface of the liquid ejecting head and including a wiper portion that wipes the liquid ejection surface by moving in a direction along the liquid ejection surface, an electric portion including a substrate, the electronic portion being a part related to control of the apparatus, and a power supply portion as a power supply source, in which a moving direction of the wiper portion is a direction intersecting a surface of the substrate, and at least part of the electric portion and at least part of the power supply portion overlap part of the wiping mechanism in the moving direction of the wiper portion.

Liquid ejecting apparatus

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting head that includes a nozzle surface on which a nozzle is open and that ejects a liquid through the nozzle; a housing that accommodates the liquid ejecting head; a moving mechanism that moves the liquid ejecting head relative to the housing in a moving direction intersecting the nozzle surface; and a duct in which a fluid flows, in which the duct includes a first coupling section coupled to the housing and a second coupling section coupled to the liquid ejecting head and is configured to expand and contract in the moving direction.

A main body frame of a multifunction machine has first and second frames of which surfaces parallel to a Z-axis face each other. A recording head is disposed between the first and the second frames and fixed to the main body frame. An ejection tray is fixed to the main body frame on a +Z direction with respect to the recording head. A scanner is fixed to the main body frame on the +Z direction with respect to the ejection tray and forms an ejection space with the ejection tray. The recording head performs recording on a medium which is being transported toward a first direction, which is an in-plane direction of the first frame. The ejection tray is configured to be removed toward a second direction, which is the in-plane direction of the first frame, in a state where the scanner is fixed to the main body frame.

Provided is a cover piece to be removably attached to a medium storage cassette including a medium storage section for storing a medium, and an operation unit provided in a recess and configured to lock and unlock the medium storage section to and from an apparatus main body. The cover piece includes a main portion configured to enter the recess in the medium storage cassette so as to cover the recess, and a sliding portion configured to slide so as to switch between a first state in which the sliding portion sticks out from the main portion and the main portion is locked to the recess, and a second state in which the main portion is unlocked and allowed to enter the recess and be removed from the recess.

Provided is a recording apparatus which includes a recording portion which performs recording on a medium, a transport path which extends to the recording portion, a feeding mechanism which sends the medium to the transport path, a manual feeding path which meets the transport path in such a manner that an extending direction of the manual feeding path changes to intersect the transport path and, a guide portion which is disposed in a meeting portion between the transport path and the manual feeding path. When the medium is sent back by the feeding mechanism, the guide portion does not move and, when the medium is inserted into the manual feeding path, the guide portion moves in a direction in which the guide portion is broadened.

The sheet for electrophoretic display devices includes a data display layer between electrically conductive layers of two opposite electrode films, the data display layer containing microcapsules for electrophoretic display devices and a binder resin, wherein the binder resin has a weight-average molecular weight of from 40,000 to 300,000 and a glass transition temperature of from &#x2212;50&#xb0; C. to 10&#xb0; C. This sheet can be produced by forming the data display layer on an electrically conductive layer of a first electrode film and putting an electrically conductive layer of a second electrode film on the data display layer, followed by lamination. This sheet can be used, as its applications, for electrophoretic display devices using the sheets for electrophoretic display devices, and electronic equipments using the electrophoretic display devices.
