The present invention provides an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic that is excellent in the resilient and supple (in other words, firm, tensional, and elastic) feel and also excellent in the softness and moisturizing effect. The oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by comprising the following components: (A) 0.1 to 5 mass % of hydrogenated polyisobutene with a number average molecular weight of 2000 to 3000, (B) 0.1 to less than 1 mass % of higher alcohol, (C) 1 to 25 mass % of an oil component, (D) 0.3 to 5 mass % of surfactant, (E) 0.05 to 5 mass % of water-soluble thickener, and (F) an aqueous component, wherein the blending quantity of nonpolar oil is 30% or lower of the total amount of component (C).

Oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic

The present invention provides an oil-in-water cosmetic excellent in emulsion stability. The oil-in-water cosmetic includes (a) oil-droplet particles consisting of an oil component to be emulsified; (b) vesicle particles for stabilizing the oil-droplet particles; and (c) an aqueous phase containing water and a monohydric aliphatic alcohol having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. It is preferred that the vesicle particles are formed with an amphiphilic substance which spontaneously forms vesicle particles, and that they are localized on surfaces of the oil-droplet particles. It is preferred that the amphiphilic substance be a polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil derivative represented by the following formula (I), wherein E=L+M+N+X+Y+Z, and that said E which represents the average addition mole number of ethylene oxide is 10 to 20. 

Oil-in-water cosmetics

The present invention provides an oil-in-water emulsion composition having excellent emulsion stability, low sticky feeling, and low skin irritation. The oil-in-water emulsion composition according to the present invention comprising (a) 1 to 20 mass % of a powder component, (b) 0.001 to 0.5 mass % of a cationic surfactant having two alkyl chains with 12 or more and 22 or less carbon atoms, (c) an oil phase component, and (d) a water phase component, having a structure wherein (a) powder particles are adsorbed on the oil droplets dispersed in the water phase.

Oil-in-water emulsion composition and method for producing the same

The present invention is to provide a new surfactant that can be used as an emulsifier excellent in emulsion stability and texture in use and as a cleanser excellent in cleansing power and texture in use and having low skin irritation. A surfactant consisting of a compound represented by the below-described general formula (1).Y&#x2014;O-(EO)-(AO)-(EO)-X&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)(In the formula, AO represents an oxyalkylene group having 3 to 4 carbon atoms; m is the average addition mole number of the oxyalkylene group and satisfies 5&#x2266;m&#x2266;100. EO represents an oxyethylene group; l and n are the average addition mole numbers of the oxyethylene groups and satisfy 0&#x2266;l&#x2266;4 and 0&#x2266;n&#x2266;4. Either X or Y or both are a functional group represented by &#x2014;SOM, &#x2014;COOM, &#x2014;HPOM, &#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;SOM, or &#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;COO, wherein M is a hydrogen ion or a monovalent inorganic or organic cation, and q is the number of carbon atoms of the linked alkylene group and satisfies 1&#x2266;q&#x2266;4. When either X or Y is the above-described functional group, the other one can be a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.)
