A rotating machine includes: a rotary shaft that is configured to rotate about a center axis; an impeller that is fixed to the rotary shaft and that is configured to compress a working fluid by integrally rotating with the rotary shaft; a casing that covers the rotary shaft; a first seal portion that is disposed at a position away from the impeller in a center axis direction of the rotary shaft and that is configured to seal a portion between the rotary shaft and the casing with a seal gas; a second seal portion that is disposed between the impeller and the first seal portion and that is configured to seal a portion between the rotary shaft and the casing; and a gas supply path through which the seal gas is introduced into the first seal portion.

Rotating machine

A rotary machine includes: a pair of radial bearings for rotatably supporting a rotating shaft around a center axis; impellers fixed to the rotating shaft at positions separated from the radial bearings in a center axis direction; and additional masses fixed to the rotating shaft at positions separated from both the radial bearings and the impellers in the center axis direction, and applying a load to an entire circumference of the rotating shaft so as to move positions of amplitude increase regions where an amplitude in a radial direction of the rotating shaft starts to increase.

Rotary machine

A centrifugal compressor includes: a rotor that includes a shaft rotatably disposed inside a casing and impellers fixed to an outer periphery of the shaft; a diaphragm that surrounds the impellers from an outer peripheral side; a suction-side casing head disposed separately from the diaphragm on a side on which fluid is sucked; a temperature controlling mechanism that is provided inside the suction-side casing head and is configured to control ambient temperature through flow of a heating medium; a heat insulating body disposed between the suction-side casing head and the diaphragm; and a locking structure that locks the heat insulating body and the suction-side casing head with each other to be relatively displaceable in a radial direction.

Centrifugal compressor

A centrifugal compressor that includes a rotor including a shaft rotatably supported in a casing and an impeller secured to an outer periphery of the shaft; a diaphragm surrounding the impeller from an outer peripheral side; a suction side casing head disposed so as to be spaced apart from the diaphragm on a side where a fluid is suctioned; a temperature adjusting mechanism that is provided in the suction side casing head and configured to adjust a temperature of environment by flow of a heat medium; a heat shield that is provided between the suction side casing head and the diaphragm and defines, together with the impeller, a suction flow path through which the fluid is introduced to the impeller; and a plurality of straightening vanes that are provided in the suction flow path and configured to straighten the fluid flowing through the suction flow path.

A method of manufacturing a hollow element which has an internal space and of which the internal space is cryogenically used, the method comprising a base material forming step of forming a base material which has a space to serve as the internal space; a filling step of filling the internal space of the formed base material with fluid having a temperature equal to or lower than a temperature at which the base material is subjected to solid-phase transformation and causing the base material to be subjected to the solid-phase transformation; and a finishing step of finishing the base material after the base material is subjected to phase transformation.

A method for inspecting a rotary machine having a fluid flow path includes a step of connecting an observation device to a connection port having an open/close valve that opens/closes a communication hole that communicates with the outside of the rotary machine and the flow path, the main body being connected to the connection port where the open/close valve is closed; a step of opening the open/close valve and inserting an insertion rod protruding from the main body of the observation device into the communication hole; a step of observing the inside of the flow path by an observation optical system provided at a leading end portion of the insertion rod; a step of withdrawing the insertion rod from the communication hole and closing the open/close valve; and a step of detaching the main body of the observation device from the connection port.

Method for inspecting rotary machine, and rotary machine

A method for inspecting a rotary machine having a flow path through which a fluid flows includes a step of measuring a width of the flow path by a non-contact sensor in a stationary component of the rotary machine at a position facing the flow path; and a step of determining whether or not the measured width of the flow path is less than a predetermined lower limit threshold.

A centrifugal compressor includes a rotor including: a shaft that extends along an axis and an impeller that is fixed to an outer surface of the shaft and feeds a fluid that flows into a first side in an axial direction to an outer side in a radial direction of the axis under pressure; a diaphragm that surrounds the impeller from an outer circumference side; a first casing head disposed at a second side of the diaphragm in the axial direction at an interval; a seal device disposed between the first casing head and the shaft; and a bearing device disposed at the second side in the axial direction with respect to the seal device and disposed between the first casing head and the shaft.
