A semiconductor device includes a Hall element, a sealing resin and at least one mount surface. The Hall element includes a functional surface and at least one electrode provided on the functional surface. The sealing resin includes a resin obverse surface and a resin reverse surface spaced apart from each other in a thickness direction, and covers at least a portion of the Hall element. The mount surface is electrically connected to the electrode of the Hall element and exposed from the resin reverse surface. The Hall element includes an exposed surface opposite to the functional surface. The exposed surface is flush with either one of the resin obverse surface and the resin reverse surface.

An optical apparatus includes a substrate, a wiring patternformed on the substrate, a light-receiving elementand a light-emitting elementprovided on the substrateand spaced apart from each other in a direction x, a light-transmitting resincovering the light-receiving element, a light-transmitting resincovering the light-emitting element, and a light-shielding resincovering the light-transmitting resinand the light-transmitting resin. The wiring patternincludes a first light-blocking portioninterposed between the light-shielding resinand the substrateand positioned between the light-receiving elementand the light-emitting elementas viewed in x-y plane. The first light-blocking portionextends across the light-emitting elementas viewed in the direction x.

Optical apparatus

The inclination sensor (A) according to the present invention includes a pair of light receiving elements (A,B), a light emitting element () for directing light to the light receiving elements (A,B) and a case () including a space () for accommodating a rolling member (). The space () is configured to cause the rolling member () to be located at a pair of light shielding positions at which the rolling member overlaps the light receiving elements (A,B) or a neutral position at which the rolling member does not overlap either of the light receiving elements (A,B). The light receiving elements (A,B) and the light emitting element () are mounted on a substrate () attached to the case () at a surface facing the space (). A plurality of surface-mounting terminals () are provided on a surface of the substrate () which is opposite from the surface on which the light receiving elements (A,B) and the light emitting element () are mounted.

Inclination sensor

The inclination sensor (A) according to the present invention includes a pair of light receiving elements (A,B), a light emitting element () for directing light to the light receiving elements (A,B) and a case () including a space () for accommodating a rolling member (). The space () is configured to cause the rolling member () to be located at a pair of light shielding positions at which the rolling member overlaps the light receiving elements (A,B) or a neutral position at which the rolling member does not overlap either of the light receiving elements (A,B). The light receiving elements (A,B) and the light emitting element () are mounted on a substrate () attached to the case () at a surface facing the space (). A plurality of surface-mounting terminals (,) are provided on a surface of the substrate () which is opposite from the surface on which the light receiving elements (A,B) and the light emitting element () are mounted.
