First and second movable contacts are connected to a first movable contact piece. A second movable contact piece is provided separately from the first movable contact piece. Third and fourth movable contacts are connected to the second movable contact piece. A drive device moves the first movable contact piece and the second movable contact piece by moving a movable iron core by a magnetic force generated from a coil. In a state where the first to fourth movable contacts are contacts the first to fourth fixed contacts, respectively, the first movable contact piece and the second movable contact piece are electrically connected in parallel with the first fixed terminal and the second fixed terminal.

Relay

The link member is capable of pressing the contact piece. The link member includes a first pressing portion and a second pressing portion. The first pressing portion is configured to press the first divided piece, and extends in a widthwise direction of the contact piece. The second pressing portion is configured to press the second divided piece, and extends in a lengthwise direction.

A contact piece unit includes a terminal, a contact piece, and a contact. The contact piece is connected with the terminal, and disposed at a position facing the terminal. The contact is attached to the contact piece. The terminal includes a connection portion, a body, and a narrow portion. The connection portion is connected with the contact piece. The body extends in a lengthwise direction of the contact piece from the connection portion. The narrow portion has a width smaller than a width of the body and smaller than a width of the contact piece.

Contact piece unit and relay

At the time of contact between the contacts, the first movable contact comes into contact with the first fixed contact before contact between the second movable contact and the second fixed contact is made. The first movable contact is located on a leading end side of the contact piece with respect to the second movable contact. The first divided piece includes a body and a projection. The body extends in the lengthwise direction. The projection projects in the widthwise direction of the first divided piece from the body. The projection includes a contact portion pressed by the link member.

A second yoke is disposed at a distance from a first yoke in a predetermined first direction. The movable unit is disposed between the first yoke and the second yoke. The movable unit is rotated by magnetic force from the first yoke and the second yoke to switch between a contact state and a non-contact state of a first contact and a second contact. The first conductive member has an extending portion extending in a second direction vertical to the first direction. The extending portion and a second conductive member are disposed at positions not overlapping with the relay body as viewed in a third direction vertical to the first direction and the second direction.

Power switchgear

A electromagnetic relay including a plate-shaped pivoting piece (), one end of which is supported in cantilever state, pivoted by a movable block (), which reciprocates in the up-down direction on the basis of excitation and demagnetization of an electromagnet block () housed within a housing (), and causes a movable contact () formed on the other end of the plate-shaped pivoting piece () to make/break contact with an anchored contact () formed on the tip section of an anchored contact terminal (). In particular, the one-end section of the plate-shaped pivoting piece () is supported pivotably in cantilever state by the upper end section of a movable contact terminal (), with a support spring () comprising a conductive sheet spring material interposed therebetween.

Electromagnetic relay

A silent electromagnetic relay in which a predetermined degree of silencing effect can be maintained regardless of a change to the specification, a higher silencing effect can be obtained at the time of return, the parts control is easy, and the cost of manufacturing is low. A first silent spring is mounted in a position of an inward face of a moving iron to be attracted to an iron core of an electromagnet portion, and an L-shaped moving iron turning based on excitation and demagnetization of the electromagnet portion is housed in a housing that is a resin molded product. Furthermore, a second silent spring for coming in contact with an inner face of the housing is mounted to an outward face of the moving iron and on an opposite side to the first silent spring.
