An air intake apparatus is provided for a utility vehicle having a front seat, a rear seat, a cargo bed, an engine arranged below the rear seat and/or the cargo bed, and a V-belt type continuously variable transmission arranged sideward of the engine. The apparatus includes an air cleaner connected to an air intake portion of the engine via a intake manifold, a cooling duct connected to an air intake portion for cooling the V-belt type continuously variable transmission, and a space in which front, rear, right, left, and lower sides thereof are surrounded by surrounding members arranged below the front seat or the rear seat. The air cleaner, an air intake opening thereof, and an air intake opening at an end of the cooling duct are arranged in the space.

Air intake apparatus for four wheeled utility vehicle

A cover structure of a plug hole provided to a cylinder head cover of an engine includes: a plug cap detachably attached to the plug hole; an outer cover covering at least an upper side of the plug cap; and a seal member provided on an upper face of the cylinder head cover and surrounding a periphery of the plug hole. In the cover structure, the outer cover has a projection portion projected toward the cylinder head cover, and the seal member is pressed to the upper face of the cylinder head cover by the projection portion.

In a V-belt type continuously variable transmission for utility vehicle, a transmission case assembly covering a drive pulley assembly and a driven pulley assembly is provided. The transmission case assembly includes a transmission case main body, and a transmission cover attached to a cover attachment surface of the transmission case main body. The cover attachment surface is inclined with respect to a vertical plane which is orthogonal to a crankshaft, and the transmission cover is attached to the cover attachment surface by a plurality of bolts removed and inserted in the direction orthogonal to the cover attachment surface.

V-belt type continuously variable transmission

In a structure for coupling a V-belt type continuously variable transmission with an engine of a vehicle, the engine includes a first opening through which a crankshaft passes. A coupling plate mounted on a plate mounting surface that surrounds the first opening includes a second opening through which the crankshaft and an upper end flange of the oil pan pass. First and second seal plates are disposed on front and back surfaces of the coupling plate, and the first and second seal plates seal a space into which the upper end flange is inserted. A liquid seal agent seals gaps of various locations of the second opening.

Structure for coupling V-belt type continuously variable transmission with engine

A vehicle includes at least: an engine; a transmission arranged on a rear side in a vehicle traveling direction relative to the engine; an exhaust pipe connected to the engine and discharging exhaust gas; and an exhaust muffler connected to a downstream end part of the exhaust pipe. The exhaust muffler is elastically supported on the transmission by an exhaust muffler support member arranged and located between the transmission and the exhaust muffler.

Utility vehicle

An engine and a transmission are connected to each other via a connecting bracket interposed therebetween in the vehicular lengthwise direction. The engine is provided with a first connector having a first mounting hole substantially parallel to a vehicle lengthwise direction, and a first tightening member to be inserted into the first mounting hole on a side opposite to the engine connects the first end of the connecting bracket to the first connector. The transmission is provided with a second connector having a second mounting hole penetrating in a vehicular widthwise direction, and a second tightening member to be inserted into the second mounting hole connects the second end of the connecting bracket to the second connector.
