A housing () includes a housing body () and a receptacle () projecting forward from the housing body (). The housing body () includes first cavities () into which first male terminals () are inserted, and second cavities () into which second male terminals () are inserted. Each second male terminal () includes a second tab () longer than a first tab () of each first male terminal (). Recesses () are provided on a front surface () of the housing body () around openings of the second cavities () and are recessed farther rearward than areas around openings of the first cavities (). A moving plate () is movable from an initial position to a connection position in the receptacle (). The moving plate () has interpolar partitioning portions () configured to partition between the adjacent second tabs () by entering the recesses () at the connection position.

A grounding terminal fitting (A) includes a base terminal fitting () having mounting holes () and a base-side locking portion (), and a combined terminal fitting () separate from the base terminal fitting () and to be fixed while being overlapped on the base terminal fitting () by being locked to the base-side locking portion (). The combined terminal fitting () includes at least one wire connecting terminal fitting () formed with a through hole () to be aligned with the mounting hole () for the passage of a bolt (). A wire connecting portion () for connecting a grounding wire () and a combining locking portion (). When the combining locking portions () are locked together, the wire connecting terminal fittings () are overlapped and fixed and the through holes () are aligned with one another.

Waterproof connector

A ground connection structure includes a stud bolt () standing on a ground surface (A), and a non-circular rotation stopping portion () is formed on a base part of the stud bolt (). A ground terminal fitting () is to be connected conductively to the ground surface (). The ground terminal fitting () has a non-circular rotation stopping hole () that is fit to the rotation stopping portion () with relative rotation restricted. Resilient contact pieces () extend in an axial direction of the stud bolt () from an edge of the rotation stopping hole (). A nut () is screwed onto the stud bolt () and causes the resilient contact pieces () to be deflected resiliently between the nut () and the ground surface ().

A joint connector () for electrically connecting a plurality of terminal fittings () mounted on ends of a plurality of ground wires (W) of a vehicle includes a pair of terminal holding portions (A,A) for holding a pair of the terminal fittings (). A pair of locking lances () deflectable with respect to each other and configured to suppress the withdrawal of the pair of terminal fittings () by locking the pair of terminal fittings () are arranged back to back with each other via a deflection permitting space () between the pair of terminal holding portions (A,A).

A conductive plate () for grounding a plurality of first ground wires (W) to a body of a vehicle includes a conductive plate main body () with a body-side grounding portion () to be grounded to the body by being bolted to the body. Terminal connecting portions (B) are on one end of the conductive plate main body () and are to be connected to wire-side terminals () electrically connected to the respective first ground wires (W). A first rib group () and a second rib group () project from the conductive plate main body () in a thickness direction of the conductive plate main body () and set the rigidity of the conductive plate main body () to be low at a position close to the body-side grounding portion () and high at a position distant from the body-side grounding portion ().
