A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator, and stator windings. The stator winding has a plurality of slot conductor groups having a plurality of slot conductors of the same phase. A plurality of slot conductors of the slot conductor group are inserted into a predetermined number (Ns) of slots continuously arranged in a circumferential direction of the stator core such that the slot and the layer are adjacent to each other. The predetermined number (Ns) is set to 'Ns=NSPP+1,' where 'NSPP' denotes the number of slots per pole per phase.

Rotary electric machine and vehicle provided with the same

Provided is a high-torque low-noise rotary electric machine. In a rotary electric machine, a jumper conductor having a normal slot pitch connects slot conductors by striding slots with a slot pitch 'Np=N(=6)' in one of coil ends and striding slots with a slot pitch 'Np=N(=6)' in the other coil end, assuming that the number of slots per pole is set to &#x201c;N(=6).&#x201d; The jumper conductor having an irregular slot pitch connects the slot conductors by striding slots with a slot pitch &#x201c;Np=N+1(=7)&#x201d; in one of the coil ends and striding slots with a slot pitch &#x201c;Np=N&#x2212;1(=5)&#x201d; in the other coil end, assuming that the number of slots per pole is set to &#x201c;N(=6).&#x201d; The stator winding has a plurality of slot conductor groups consisting of a plurality of slot conductors having the same phase.

The efficiency of inserting a coil conductor into a slot of a stator core is improved in the present invention. Included are a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a stator core formed with a plurality of slots formed at a predetermined depth in a radial direction and arranged while spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction and stator winding having a coil conductor inserted in each of the slots. A plurality of protrusions are formed in each of the slots of the stator core toward a space into which the coil conductor is inserted.

A rotating electric machine, which can achieve improvement of a reluctance torque, reduction of stress and improvement of a power factor at the same time, and can also realize high output, and an electrically driven vehicle having the rotating electric machine are provided. A permanent magnet is arranged on a q-axis that connects magnetic poles of a rotor; a gap is formed in a radial direction of the permanent magnet; another permanent magnet is arranged facing the said permanent magnet so that these permanent magnets may sandwich a d-axis which connects centers of the magnetic poles; and another gap is formed at a position corresponding to a position of the said gap. Further, a first virtual line that coincides with a boundary of a permanent magnet insertion hole, which is arranged facing the d-axis, on an inner circumference side of a rotor core; and a second virtual line that is concentric with an inner circumference of the rotor core and contacts the first vertical line are set so that the second virtual line on the innermost circumference and the first virtual line have two or more tangent points.
