A diplexer includes a first filter circuit including a first loop inductor defining a first loop plane and a second loop inductor defining a second loop plane, a second filter circuit adjacent to the first filter circuit, and a first via hole conductor that electrically connects an input/output terminal, the first filter circuit and the second filter circuit to each other. The first loop plane faces the second loop plane while protruding beyond the second loop plane in a first direction. The first via hole conductor is provided relative to the first loop inductor in a second direction from the first loop plane toward the second loop plane, and is superposed with a portion of the first loop plane that protrudes beyond the second loop plane when viewed in the second direction.

Diplexer

This disclosure provides an antenna and a wireless communication device that includes the antenna in which a high-order mode can be controlled while maintaining good radiation characteristics in both the fundamental mode and high-order mode. The antenna has a radiation electrode provided on a surface of a dielectric substrate and a branch electrode portion that branches from the radiation electrode portion at a branch point near the feeding port toward a vicinity of a position of the radiation electrode at which a maximum voltage of a high-order mode is generated.

Antenna and wireless communication device

A non-feeding element is provided with a proximity-providing gap from a feeding element, and a resonant state is generated there by capacitive coupling. The non-feeding element resonates at a frequency different from a resonant frequency of the feeding element. The feeding element and the non-feeding element have alongside-ground-terminal extending portions spaced from an edge surface at one end of a ground surface formed on the circuit board and to extend in a direction along the edge surface at the one end of the ground surface. The feeding element and/or the non-feeding element is formed three-dimensionally with a plurality of bending portions so that at least parts of the alongside-ground-terminal extending portion of the feeding element and the ground-terminal extending portion of the non-feeding element have substantially the same amount of spacing from the ground surface.

Antenna device and wireless communication apparatus including the same

In an antenna, a first type radiation electrode and a second type radiation electrode are provided on the surface of a dielectric base, which has a predetermined external shape, or embedded in the dielectric base. The first type radiation electrode is provided with an open terminal at one end thereof and a feeding terminal at the other end thereof so as to constitute a monopole type antenna. The second type radiation electrode is provided with a capacitive-coupling feeding electrode at one end thereof and a ground connection terminal at the other end thereof so as to constitute a capacitive feed antenna. The one end of the first type radiation electrode is located opposite to the feeding electrode of the second type radiation electrode when viewed in the direction of the length of the dielectric base.

Antenna and wireless communication apparatus

A non-feeding element is provided with a proximity-providing gap from a feeding element that receives RF power from a feeding point on a circuit board, and a resonant state is generated there by capacitive coupling. At least one of the feeding element and the non-feeding element is formed three-dimensionally with a plurality of bending portions so that at least parts of the alongside-ground-terminal extending portion of the feeding element and the ground-terminal extending portion of the non-feeding element have substantially the same amount of spacing from the ground surface, with a mutual gap in a thickness direction of the circuit board.
