A vehicle transmission having a valve body disposed adjacently to and in parallel with a side cover covering a front or rear side or a side surface of a transmission case in a vehicle width direction in a vehicle-mounted state, the side cover connected to the transmission case, in which an electromagnetic valve is included on the side cover side of the valve body, when viewed in a direction horizontal and parallel to mating surfaces of the transmission case and the side cover, a strainer for removing a foreign material in a hydraulic oil is disposed between the side cover and the valve body to overlap with at least a portion of the electromagnetic valve, and the strainer has an inflow portion for allowing the hydraulic oil to flow in disposed vertically above an oil surface.

Vehicular transmission

A hydraulic control device is disposed forward of a case housing a speed change mechanism in an on-vehicle state. A detent lever is fixed to the control shaft, has a first end connected to a parking rod, and includes a detent recess with which a detent mechanism is engaged. A swing lever includes a shaft serving as a swing center, a first extension extending from one end of the shaft, and a second extension extending from the other end of the shaft. The first extension is connected to a second end of the detent lever. The second extension is connected to a manual valve. An axial position of the manual valve changes in accordance with a rotation angle of the control shaft.

Automatic transmission

A mechanical oil pump, an electric oil pump, and a strainer are disposed inside a transmission case. As a suction oil passage that returns an excess hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic control device to the mechanical oil pump, a common oil passage extending from the hydraulic control device, a branch point, a first oil passage extending from the branch point to the mechanical oil pump, and a second oil passage extending from the branch point to the electric oil pump are formed in the transmission case. A meeting point where an inlet oil passage for suctioning oil via the strainer and the first oil passage of the suction oil passage meet is formed inside a pump body of the mechanical oil pump. Accordingly, the suction oil passage of the mechanical oil pump and an inlet oil passage of the electric oil pump have a portion in common.

Vehicle drive apparatus

Power system including differential-mechanism, clutch-mechanism, power-mechanism and dog-clutch disposed between an input rotary member to receive drive-force from a drive power source and output rotary-member to transmit drive-force to drive-wheels, the differential-mechanism including an input rotary element, output rotary element and reaction rotary element; the clutch-mechanism connecting two rotary elements of the input, output and reaction rotary elements of the differential-mechanism, to each other, the power-mechanism having predetermined gear ratio, and dog-clutch selectively placing a power path between the output rotary element and output rotary-member, in power transmitting state and power cutoff state; transmitting drive-force to drive-wheels while the clutch-mechanisms and dog-clutch are placed in engaged states. The dog-clutch engagement retainer mechanism holds the dog-clutch in engaged state while the power system turns in parking-lock-position inhibiting output rotary-member motion, and switching the dog-clutch from engaged to released when the power system switches to non-parking-lock position permitting the output rotary-member motion.

Power transmitting system of a vehicle

A vehicle drive apparatus for supplying oil pressure to a hydraulic servo at restart of an engine. The vehicle drive apparatus includes an accumulator that accumulates the oil pressure, an electromagnetic switching valve that retains oil pressure of the accumulator when an oil pump is stopped, a switching valve control unit that controls opening and closing of the electromagnetic switching valve, and a restart determining unit that determines whether or not to restart the vehicle drive source from a stopped state. When it is determined by the restart determining unit to restart the vehicle drive source, the switching valve control unit is started so as to supply the oil pressure accumulated in the accumulator to the hydraulic servo. As a result, engine friction engagement elements are quickly engaged to enable starting of a vehicle.

A vehicle drive unit includes a clutch pressure control valve that controls hydraulic pressure for operating the clutch; a clutch control valve that is provided in a first oil passage between the clutch pressure control valve and the clutch, and that controls hydraulic pressure in an engagement state between full engagement and disengagement of the clutch; a second oil passage that bypasses the clutch control valve and that is arranged parallel to the first oil passage; and a shift valve that connects, to an oil passage connected to the clutch, the first oil passage when controlling the engagement state between full engagement and disengagement of the clutch, and the second oil passage when not controlling the engagement state between full engagement and disengagement of the clutch.
