A treatment instrument includes a grasping piece that is openable and closable to a treatment portion, and includes an electrode member. An electrode inclination surface facing a side on which the treating portion is located is provided on an outer surface of the electrode member of the grasping piece, and the electrode inclination surface extends from an inner side to an outer side in a width direction so as to be inclined in a direction away from the treatment portion.

Treatment instrument

An energy surgical instrument includes first and second grasping pieces for grasping a blood vessel. At least one of the grasping pieces is designed to apply treatment energy to a grasped blood vessel. The instrument also includes a processor designed to set a wall thickness of the blood vessel, and a grasping force adjuster designed to adjust a grasping force applied by the first and second grasping pieces. A first grasping force is applied when the wall thickness set by the processor is larger than a predetermined thickness, and a second grasping force, which is larger than the first grasping force, is applied when the wall thickness set by the processor is equal to or smaller than the predetermined thickness. A treatment method includes applying treatment energy to a blood vessel grasped by the first and second grasping pieces of the instrument to seal the blood vessel.

Energy surgical instrument

An energy treatment instrument includes a pair of grasping pieces, and the grasping pieces grasp a treated target therebetween by closing relative to each other. At least one of the grasping pieces includes an energy applying portion which treats the treated target by applying treatment energy to the grasped treated target. At least one of the grasping pieces includes a hauler hauling the treated target toward an inside in a width direction of the grasping pieces, when the grasping pieces close relative to each other in a state that the treated target is disposed between the grasping pieces.

Energy treatment instrument and energy treatment system

A grasping treatment instrument includes a sheath, a first grasping piece provided at a distal end of the sheath, a second grasping piece and a movable member. The second grasping piece is connected to the sheath at a first rotation axis perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the sheath. The movable member is connected to the second grasping piece at the second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis, and is configured to move along the longitudinal axis. The first rotation axis is configured to move within the sheath or the second grasping piece in a plane perpendicular to the first rotation axis. The second rotation axis is configured to move within the movable member or the second grasping piece in a plane perpendicular to the second rotation axis.

Grasping treatment instrument

A medical device includes, a vibration transmitting member configured to be capable of transmitting vibration for use in a treatment; a jaw configured to move between an abutted position where the jaw abuts on the vibration transmitting member, and a spaced position where the jaw is spaced apart from the vibration transmitting member; and a cover provided in such a position that the vibration transmitting member is interposed between the cover and the jaw, and configured such that a first distal portion, which is located at a distal end of the cover, comes in contact with the vibration transmitting member, when the jaw is located in the abutted position.

An ultrasonic treatment instrument includes a vibration transmitting member transmitting ultrasonic vibration toward a first gripper and formed as one piece, and a second gripper movable between a spaced position where the second gripper is spaced apart from the first gripper and a closed position where the second gripper is put in close to the first gripper. The ultrasonic treatment instrument includes an interlocking actuator increasing, by moving the first gripper in interlock with a movement of the second gripper to the spaced position, a spacing distance between the first gripper and the second gripper in accordance with a movement of the first gripper.

A medical apparatus includes a first clamp portion; a pivot shaft; a second clamp portion rotatable around the pivot shaft, and movable between an opened position in which the second clamp portion is distant from the first clamp portion, and a closed position in which the second clamp portion is adjacent to the first clamp portion; and an electrode member provided on the second clamp portion, and opposed to the first clamp portion, the electrode member forming a clearance in cooperation with the first clamp portion in the closed position, the clearance in a second position distant from the pivot shaft being smaller than the clearance in a first position adjacent to the pivot shaft, to adjust holding pressure.

A medical apparatus includes a treatment device configured to be capable of treating a subject by applying energy to the subject, an optical fiber including a light emitting face for emitting light into the subject, the optical fiber being connected to the treatment device, and a shield portion that is disposed in front of the light emitting face of the optical fiber, the shield portion being configured to expose the light emitting face when the treatment device does not perform a treatment operation and to shield the light emitting face when the treatment device performs the treatment operation.

A jaw of a grasping treatment device includes a non-contact portion having a space between it and a distal treatment section in a state where an abutment portion abuts on the distal treatment section, and the non-contact portion includes a wall surface portion inclined so that it is extended toward a distal treatment section side as it is extended away from the abutment portion. A movement regulating portion is provided in a region of the non contact portion located closer to the abutment portion than a continuous surface which forms an edge of the non-contact portion. The movement regulating portion located in the first wall surface portion regulates a movement of a grasp object along the jaw axis direction.

In a treatment instrument, a load force center of a load force, which is a sum of gravity acting on the treatment instrument and an external force caused by a connected cable, is positioned between two support members of a handle section, and a location of introduction of the cable is disposed in a manner to extend therebetween. In the treatment instrument, an ultrasonic vibration element unit is attached and rotatably coupled to a handle unit, a power receiving section or a power supply section at the coupling constitutes a rotary electrode structure by a cylindrical electrode and a terminal electrode, and power from an outside is received and transmitted between the handle unit and the ultrasonic vibration element unit.

Ultrasonic treatment instrument using ultrasonic vibrations

A CF card casing structure includes at least a cover plate having a metal sheet surrounded by and fixed to an insert-molded frame, a counter cover plate of metal sheet and a receptacle connector. The insert-molded frame has catch slots made therein; and the counter cover plate has serrated latch pieces integrally connected thereto. Each latch piece is adapted to be inserted into a corresponding catch slot for detachably fastening the cover plate to the counter cover plate, thereby providing an integral assembly.

CF card casing structure

Disclosed is an improved card connector comprising a casing for accommodating a card, a rotary lever pivoted in the casing, and an ejection lever slidably attached to one side of the casing. The ejection lever is so operatively connected to the rotary lever that the inserting of the card in the casing may drive the ejection lever toward the front side of the casing through the agency of the turning rotary lever, and that the pushing of the ejection lever toward the rear side of the casing may eject the card out of the front side of the casing through the agency of the turning rotary lever. The rotary lever is pivotally mounted to the ceiling of the casing by a tongue-like piece extending across the rotary lever from one lateral side of a window opening of the ceiling plate. The window opening is made by cutting a selected area of the ceiling plate, and is somewhat wider than the rotary lever, and the tongue-like piece is depressed the thickness of the ceiling plate. The rotary lever has a depression at its pivotal area, the amount of depression corresponding to the thickness of the casing plate. Combination of the depressed tongue and the reentrant section of the rotary lever provides a fulcrum for the rotary lever.

Card connector of reduced-height profile

Disclosed is an improved card bus connector whose insulating housing has bifurcate contact pieces and a shield plate fixed thereto. The leads of the bifurcate contact pieces and shield plate are connected to selected conductors of an associated printed circuit. The insulating housing has a contact-support mold press-fitted in its rear opening. The contact-support mold has the contact-to-lead transitions of the female contact pieces embedded therein. Each bifurcate contact piece has a stem offset from its center longitudinal contact line.

Card connector and a method of mounting the same on an associated

A compatible CF card adapter (1) permits a thick or thin CF card (7) to be nested therewith. The CF card adapter includes pin contacts (4a) projecting from a housing (4b) for mating with the female contacts of the CF card. The CF card adapter has a slidable contact cover (4f) spring-biased to enclose the pin contacts (4a). The contact cover (4f) is responsive to insertion of the CF card for yieldingly withdrawing to expose the pin contacts (4a) behind, thereby permitting the pin contacts (4a) to be mated with the receptacle terminals of the CF card.
