A steam generator includes: a water storage chamber which stores water therein, a heater which heats inside the water storage chamber to generate steam, a water supply device which supplies the water storage chamber with water, a steam spout port which ejects steam generated in the water storage chamber therethrough, a temperature detector which detects a temperature in the water storage chamber, and a controller which controls the heater and the water supply device, wherein after the start of the heating by the heater, the controller determines if water storage is completed in the water storage chamber based on the temperature detected by the temperature detector.

Steam generator

A steam generator includes a boiler, a water supply pipe, a drainage pipe, and a steam supply pipe. The boiler has a first side wall, a second side wall, a bottom wall, a water inlet, a drain outlet, and a steam discharge port. The water supply pipe supplies water to the boiler. The drainage extends to a drainage pipe outlet below the drain outlet by way of a curved portion thereof having a shape projecting upward from the drain outlet. The steam supply pipe supplies steam to a cavity. The bottom wall has an inner bottom surface downwardly inclined from the first side wall toward the second side wall which faces the first side wall. The water inlet is in the first side wall near the inner bottom surface, and the drain outlet is in the second side wall near the inner bottom surface and lower than the water inlet.

A steam generator includes: a water storage chamber which stores water therein, a first heating portion which heats water stored in the water storage chamber to generate steam, a water supply device which supplies the water storage chamber with water, a controller, a steam spout port which ejects steam generated in the water storage chamber therethrough, and a temperature detector which detects a temperature in the water storage chamber, wherein a water level in the water storage chamber is calculated depending on the temperature detected by the temperature detector, and wherein at the time of steam generation, the controller is configured to perform a water supply control of the water supply device based on the calculated water level such that a water volume from the first heating portion to a water surface is smaller than a water volume from the first heating portion to the bottom surface of the water storage chamber.

A steam generator includes: a water storage chamber which stores water therein, at least one heating portion which heats water in the water storage chamber to generate steam, a water supply device which supplies the water storage chamber with water, a steam spout port which spouts the steam generated in the water storage chamber therethrough, and a plurality of fins positioned below the steam spout port in a steam-generating direction and spaced from one another, wherein a first distance between the plurality of fins differs from a second distance between an inner wall side surface of the water storage chamber and the fins.

A heating cooker includes a housing having a heating chamber defined therein, cooking dish support sections respectively provided on mutually opposed inner wall surfaces of the heating chamber to support opposite ends of a cooking dish in one of a plurality of vertically spaced support positions, a steam generating unit, and a steam ejecting portion having a single discharge port formed in an inner wall surface of the heating chamber and a steam passageway provided to guide the steam to the discharge port. The steam ejecting portion ejects the steam into the heating chamber through the discharge port. The single discharge port is provided in the inner wall surface confronting a space between the cooking dish supported in an uppermost support position of the cooking dish support sections and a ceiling surface of the heating chamber.

A steam generator includes: a water storage chamber which stores water therein; a heating portion which heats water in the water storage chamber to generate steam; a water supply device which supplies the water storage chamber with water; a water discharge passage which discharges water through a water discharge port defined in the water storage chamber; a steam spout port which spouts the steam generated in the water storage chamber therethrough; and a rib integrally formed with an inner wall surface of the water storage chamber so as to cross an inside of the water storage chamber, the rib having a plurality of openings defined therein, wherein the openings are smaller than the water discharge port.

A high-frequency cooker includes: a heating chamber; a high-frequency generating device; a waveguide which is formed on a surface opposite to the heating chamber and which guides a microwave generated by the high-frequency generating device; a power feed port which is formed on a wall of the heating chamber and which allows the microwave guided by the waveguide to be supplied into the heating chamber; a microwave transmitting cover which closes the power feed port; and an umbrella-shaped member which is provided on a surface upper than the power feed port so as to cover an upper edge of the microwave transmitting cover. A steam generator includes a water storage chamber that stores water and at least one heating portion that heats the water in the water storage chamber to generate steam. A water supply device supplies water into the water storage chamber. A plurality of fins are provided in the water storage chamber. The water storage chamber has a steam spout port from which the steam generated by the heating portion spouts. The plurality of fins extend along a steam-generating direction under the steam spout port, and are separated from each other and cross the heating portion. The heating portion may be above and below a water surface that emerges in the water storage chamber during heating.
