An all-solid-state battery includes an electrode body in which a cathode layer that contains a cathode active material and a solid electrolyte, an electrolyte layer that is formed of the solid electrolyte, and an anode layer that contains an anode active material and the solid electrolyte are stacked in this order in an up-down direction, in which the cathode active material is a compound represented by a chemical formula LiFeMPAO, contains at least one metal of Ti, V, Cr, Ni, and Co as the M in the chemical formula, and contains at least one element of B, C, Al, Si, Ga, and Ge as the A in the chemical formula, the x in the chemical formula satisfies 0.8<x≤1, the y in the chemical formula satisfies 0≤y≤0.07, and the anode active material is an anatase titanium oxide represented by a chemical formula TiO.

All-solid-state battery

A transmission system includes: a hub to receive a control command from two or more controllers that control operation of an in-vehicle machinery installed in a train, and to control an output of the control command on the basis of a priority assigned to the control command, and a system-controller to determine an operating state of a controller that is a source of the control command, the system-controller being capable of changing a priority assigned to a control command transmitted from a controller whose operating state has been determined, on the basis of a determination result.

Transmission system and transmission method

A communication apparatus is mounted on a train and forms a train communication system together with a system control apparatus that generates control frames including general and low-latency frames. The communication apparatus includes: a general transfer processing unit that stores the general frame; a low latency transfer processing unit that stores the low-latency frame, the low latency frame requiring transferring with lower latency than the general frame; a frame identification unit that identifies priority of the control frame and outputs the control frame to the general transfer processing unit or the low latency transfer processing unit based on a priority setting table indicating the priority of the control frame and set in the identification unit; an output control unit that preferentially transfers the low-latency frame over the general frame; and a control unit that modifies the priority setting table.

Communication apparatus, system control apparatus, train communication system, and communication method for controlling transmission of low latency frames and general frames

A mobile communication device includes: a monitoring unit that monitors conditions of communication media; a control unit that controls switching communication media based on information indicating a communication medium having a good condition in each of a plurality of travel sections; and a switching unit that switches the communication medium to be used, wherein when a mobile object moves from a first section to a second section, the control unit causes the monitoring unit to monitor, in an area including a boundary between the first and second sections, radio wave conditions of a first communication medium having a good radio wave condition in the first section and a second communication medium having a good radio wave condition in the second section, and instructs the switching unit to perform switchover from the first communication medium to the second communication medium, based on results from the monitoring unit.

Mobile communication device and communication medium information generating device

A transfer apparatus has an input port and an output port, an input line speed of the input port and an output line speed of the output port being capable of being set to differ from each other. The transfer apparatus comprises, for each output port: a low-latency frame transmission buffer to store a low-latency frame received at the input port; a normal-latency frame transmission buffer to store a normal-latency frame that is a frame received at the input port, the normal-latency frame being permitted to be transferred with higher latency than the low-latency frame; a time calculation unit to calculate output start time of the low-latency frame by using information on a frame length of the low-latency frame, the input line speed, and the output line speed when the low-latency frame is received; and an output contention control unit to control transfer of the low-latency frame and the normal-latency frame by using the output start time.

Transfer apparatus and frame transfer method

There are provided: a transfer management table storage unit to store a transfer management table which indicates transfer destination ports for frames received from another transfer device, the another transfer device being configured to transmit a frame low in importance of received frames without copying this frame and to transmit an important frame of received frames to paths made redundant by copying the important frame, the important frame being a frame higher in importance than the frame low in importance; an adjacent information table storage unit to store an adjacent information table which indicates information about instruments connected to the ports; and a transfer destination management unit to control whether to transfer an important frame received from another transfer device by use of the transfer management table and the adjacent information table.

Transfer device

It is possible to reduce the size of a magneto-optical device, increase the speed of optical control, simplify power supply structure and its control, and maintain a Faraday rotation angle in an arbitrary state even after shut-off of the excitation current. The magneto-optical device includes a magnetic yoke () made of a high-permeability magnetic material, the magnetic yoke including a tabular portion () and four pillar portions () protruding from one side of the tabular portion (), a coil () wound on each of the pillar portions, and a magneto-optical element () arranged in an open-magnetic-circuit region surrounded by the end portions of the four pillar portions. A magnetic field obtained by a coil is applied to the magneto-optical element.

Magneto-optical device

Even when a multi-spot beam is utilized, a demand assignment multiple access (DAMA) type satellite communication can be established between a plurality of satellite earth stations installed in one zone located opposite to another zone where a control station is installed, and between the control station and the satellite earth station installed in the same zone. The control station transmits a channel setting signal for setting a communication channel to the satellite earth stations installed in the opposite zones by using a CSC signal, and further sets a channel of a transmitting/receiving unit in such a manner that after the CSC signal derived from the satellite earth station has been received, this CSC signal is returned thereto. A repeater station has a function such that repeater station receives the CSC signal to return this CSC signal, and also receives a communication signal to return this communication signal. The satellite earth station includes a delay device for setting a time defined as after the CSC signal is received, until a response signal is transmitted, based on the received delay data.

Dama type satellite communication system using non-overlapped multi-spot

In an earth-based receiving station for receiving radio signals transmitted from a satellite relay station, a common first frequency converter and at least two receivers are provided. One of the receivers is used as a control receiver to receive a CSC carrier frequency transmitted from the satellite, to generate a first local oscillator frequency phase-locked to the CSC carrier frequency, and to supply the first local oscillator frequency to the common first frequency converter. Other receivers are used as channel receivers for receiving channel frequencies. In case when the control receiver is in trouble, any other receiver can be used as a control receiver.

Spade signal receiving station

In a earth station having a particular address and comprising a terminal and a transmitting section for transmitting a transmission data signal including an address signal representative of the particular address towards a satellite through a single communication channel, a receiving section receives a reception data signal comprising the transmission data signal which is sent from the satellite through the single communication channel. By detecting the particular address, a decision circuit decide whether or not the receiving section correctly receives the reception data signal within a predetermined time interval after the transmitting section starts transmission of the transmission data signal. When the receiving section does not correctly receive the reception data signal, the transmitting section stops the transmission of the transmission data signal and an alarm signal is supplied to the terminal. Alternatively, the transmission data signal may include another address signal representative of another address of another earth station.

Earth station capable of carrying out communication without a control

In an earth station having a particular address and comprising a terminal and a transmitting section for transmitting a transmission data signal including an address signal representative of the particular address towards a satellite through a single communication channel, a receiving section receives a reception data signal comprising the transmission data signal which is sent from the satellite through the single communication channel. By detecting the particular address, a decision circuit decides whether or not the receiving section correctly receives the reception data signal within a predetermined time interval after the transmitting section starts transmission of the transmission data signal. When the receiving section does not correctly receive the reception data signal, the transmitting section stops the transmission of the transmission data signal and an alarm signal is supplied to the terminal. Alternatively, the transmission data signal may include another address signal representative of another address of another earth station.
