A sharing system includes a sharing device arranged in a shared subject and a valet key that is allowed to operate the shared subject. The sharing system further includes a portable terminal that obtains key information required to use the shared subject and is allowed to operate the shared subject when the key information is authenticated through communication with the sharing device. The sharing system further includes a privilege granting unit that grants privilege to operate the shared subject from the portable terminal to the valet key, and a restriction imposing unit that imposes a restriction on use of the portable terminal when the operation privilege for the shared subject is granted from the portable terminal to the valet key.

Sharing system using valet key

An engine start controller shortens the time required from when an operation switch is operated to when an engine is started. The engine start controller controls starting of the engine of a vehicle and power supply to an electric device system. A control unit selectively locks the steering shaft of the vehicle and performs authentication with a portable device, which is carried by a user of the vehicle, for permitting use of the vehicle. An operation switch is connected to the control unit and generates an operation signal when operated by the user. The control unit unlocks the steering shaft in parallel with supplying power to the electric device system when the operation signal is generated and use of the vehicle is permitted through the authentication.

Engine start controller

An electric steering lock apparatus that protects an actuator from overheating without enlarging the actuator. The electric steering lock apparatus includes a lock pin engaged with a steering shaft to lock the steering shaft. An actuator moves the lock pin between a lock position in which the lock pin is engaged with the steering shaft and an unlock position in which the lock pin is disengaged from the steering shaft. A control unit controls the actuator. The control unit generates a calculated value related to operation time of the actuator and suspends operation of the actuator when the calculated value is greater than a predetermined operation suspension threshold value.

Electric steering lock apparatus for protecting actuator from overheating

An engine start/stop control system for preventing an engine from stopping when a vehicle is traveling. The system includes an IGdriver circuit arranged between a power supply control unit and an IGrelay. The IG1 driver circuit is activated in accordance with an activation signal from the power supply control unit or an output signal of a latch circuit and includes an FET for activating a relay. The latch circuit keeps the FET ON and the relay activated unless the vehicle stops traveling and a start/stop switch is pushed.
