A digital micrometer includes a main-body frame, a spindle, a thimble part, and a displacement detector that detects displacement of the spindle. The main-body frame includes a U-shaped frame part, and a spindle holding part provided on the other end side of the U-shaped frame part and having a length in a direction away from an anvil. The spindle is held by a spindle holding part, provided to be movable forward and backward in an axial direction with respect to the anvil, and includes a contactor on one end face. The main-body frame and the spindle are formed of a non-magnetic material.

Digital micrometer

There is provided a method for controlling a small-sized adjustable measuring force measurement device capable of appropriately setting the origin. A central control unit changes an operation mode to an origin setting mode in response to predetermined mode changing operation. The central control unit sets a counter value of an encoder to zero as an origin when a measuring force detecting means detects that a movable member is brought into contact with an object to be measured at a predetermined pressure in the origin setting mode.

Method for controlling small-sized measurement device

An external device is configured to be detachably attached to a measuring instrument via a connector. The external device includes a connector part, an external device body part and a movable connection part. The connector part has a connection terminal. The external device body part has a display part on a side surface of the external device body part. The movable connection part is configured to connect the connector part with the external device body part. The movable connection part is a biaxial rotation hinge having two pivot axes which are in a twisted position relationship with respect to each other.

External device for measuring instrument

A measuring instrument includes a measuring unit, an electric component unit and a pin jack. The electric component unit includes a signal processing part. The signal processing part is configured to calculate a measurement data based on a detection signal obtained by the measuring unit. The pin jack is provided in the electric component unit.

Provided is a comparator including: a substantially U-shaped frame; an anvil supported at one end of the frame in an advanceable and retractable manner; a spindle supported at another end of the frame coaxially with the anvil in an advanceable and retractable manner; a measurement unit that measures the advancement and retraction of the anvil; and a display unit that displays a measurement result of the measurement unit. The measurement unit includes: an anvil contact portion that rotates around a support shaft in accordance with the advancement and retraction of the anvil; an interlocking portion that is formed to have a length greater than the length of the anvil contact portion, is supported so as to be rotatable around the support shaft, and is coupled to the anvil contact portion; and a detection unit that detects a displacement of rotation of the interlocking portion.

A micrometer includes: a body; a fixed sleeve that is fixed to the body; a spindle that is screwed to the fixed sleeve; a thimble that is rotatably fitted to an outer circumference of the fixed sleeve and has an outer end connected to the spindle; an operation sleeve fitted over a range from an outer circumference of the thimble to an outer end of the spindle and being rotatable relative to the thimble; and a constant pressure mechanism that is disposed between the operation sleeve and the spindle, the constant pressure mechanism transmitting a rotation of the operation sleeve to the spindle and allowing a free rotation of the operation sleeve against the spindle when a predetermined or more amount of load is applied on the spindle. Ball bearings are disposed between the thimble and the operation sleeve.

An inside diameter measuring tool includes: a main body; an axially moving spindle having a male screw to be screwed to the main body; a plurality of contact pieces provided on the main body, the measuring pieces moving in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axial direction of the spindle; and a conical member interposed between the contact pieces and the spindle, the conical member advancing and retracting the contact pieces in the direction substantially orthogonal to the axial direction of the spindle. The lead of the male screw of the spindle is 1.0 mm or more and the cone angle of the conical member is less than 53 degrees. Preferably, the lead of the male screw is 2.0 mm and the cone angle of the conical member is approximately 28 degrees.

Inside diameter measuring tool

A digital displacement measuring instrument detects a displacement of a spindle by an encoder and then displays the displacement on a digital display unit. With an imaginary base line centered along an axial direction of an outer circumference of a sleeve, a millimeter graduation for displaying the displacement of the spindle in millimeters is provided on one side, and the inch graduation for displaying the displacement of the spindle is provided on the other side.

Digital displacement measuring instrument

A digital displacement measuring instrument includes a spindle screwed into a body to be axially advanced and retracted relative to the body; and an encoder that detects a displacement of the spindle. The encoder includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor is supported by a rotor bushing. The rotor bushing includes an engaging key engageable with a key groove axially provided on the outer circumference of the spindle, and is displaceable in the axial direction of the spindle via a position adjusting screw. The stator is fixed to the body via a stator bushing in the vicinity of the spindle so as not to be displaceable in the axial direction of the spindle.

A measuring instrument has a phase signal transmitter that transmits, in accordance with a rotation of the spindle, a phase signal that differs corresponding to the rotation angle of the spindle, and an arithmetic processor that arithmetically processes the phase signal to obtain the absolute position of the spindle. The phase signal transmitter transmits the phase signal at a predetermined pitch. Since the phase signal differs corresponding to the rotation angle of the spindle, a rotation angle of the spindle is uniquely determined by the phase signal. Unlike an increment type measuring instrument, since there is no concern that the signal will be skip-read, the spindle can be rotated at high speed, so that operational performance of the micrometer can be improved. Further, since there is no concern that the signal will be skip-read, the phase signal can be minutely varied with respect to the rotation of the spindle.

A stator () is hooked in a frame body () away with a prespecified space from a spindle (), so that it is not necessary to fix the stator with a screw. The stator (), therefore, can easily be mounted, and further as it is not necessary to provide a screw hole in the frame body (), so that the need for waterproofing processing associated with a screw hole is eliminated. Further the stator () is hooked in a protrusion () of an electronic unit () inside the frame body () away with a prespecified space from the spindle (), so that a rotation thereof in the peripheral direction of the spindle due to play and rattle is small and a measurement error can be suppressed.
