An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, and a liquid component. The capacitor element includes an anode body having a dielectric layer at a surface of the anode body, and a conductive polymer component covering part of the dielectric layer. The liquid component contains a first solvent, a base component, and an acid component. The first solvent is at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyol and a derivative thereof. The base component contains a first base which has no boiling point or a boiling point of 100° C. or higher. A conjugate acid of the first base has an acid dissociation constant of 5 or more and 10 or less.

Electrolytic capacitor

A method for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor includes a first connection step, a second connection step, a first insertion step, a housing step, and a sealing step. In the first connection step, a first internal lead having a foil shape is connected to a first electrode foil. In the second connection step, after the first connection step, a first external lead having a rod shape is connected to the first internal lead to obtain the first electrode. In the first insertion step, the first external lead is inserted into an insertion port of a sealing plate after the second connection step. In the housing step, the first electrode is housed in a container after the first insertion step. In the sealing step, an opening of the container is closed with the sealing plate after the housing step.

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and a liquid component, wherein the capacitor element includes an anode body having a dielectric layer on a surface thereof, and a conductive polymer compound covering at least a portion of the dielectric layer. The liquid component includes an acid component, a base component, a solvent, and an antioxidant. The solvent includes water and a polyol compound. The acid component includes a coordination compound including a central atom, and an organic molecule having a plurality of coordination atoms bonded to the central atom, and at least one of the plurality of coordination atoms is an oxygen atom bonded to a carbonyl group.

An electrolytic capacitor includes an anode body having a dielectric layer; a solid electrolyte layer in contact with the dielectric layer of the anode body; and an electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution contains a solvent and a solute. The solvent contains a glycol compound. The solute contains an acid component and a base component. A mass of the acid component in the solute is greater than a mass of the base component in the solute. The acid component contains a first aromatic compound having a hydroxyl group.

A method for producing an electrolytic capacitor includes: preparing an anode foil, a cathode foil, and a fibrous structure, the anode foil having a porous portion including a dielectric layer; preparing a conductive polymer-containing liquid, the conductive polymer-containing liquid containing a conductive polymer component and a first solvent; forming a separator by removing at least a part of the first solvent after applying the conductive polymer-containing liquid to the fibrous structure; forming a capacitor element from the anode foil, the separator, and the cathode foil; and impregnating the capacitor element with an electrolytic solution. An electrical conductivity of the electrolytic solution at 30° C. is 3.0 mS/cm or more.

Electrolytic capacitor including electrolytic solution having high electrical conductivity and method for producing same

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and a liquid component. The capacitor element includes an anode body that includes a dielectric layer on a surface of the anode body and a conductive polymer that covers a part of the dielectric layer. The liquid component includes a sugar alcohol component and a polyalkylene glycol component. The sugar alcohol component contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a sugar alcohol having four or more hydroxy groups and a derivative of the sugar alcohol.

A method for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor of the present disclosure includes first to third steps. In the first step, a capacitor element is prepared that includes an anode body on which a dielectric layer is formed. In the second step, the capacitor element is impregnated with a first treatment solution containing at least a conductive polymer and a first solvent. In the third step, the capacitor element is, after the second step, impregnated with a second treatment solution that contains a polyol compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups per molecule.

Method for manufacturing electrolytic capacitor

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and an electrolytic solution. The capacitor element includes: an anode body including a dielectric layer; a cathode body; and a solid electrolyte in contact with the dielectric layer. The electrolytic solution includes a solvent, a solute, and a polymer component. The solvent includes an ethylene glycol compound. The polymer component includes polyalkylene glycol. The polyalkylene glycol includes at least one of (i) a mixture of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene and (ii) an oxyethylene-oxypropylene copolymer. In the polyalkylene glycol, a molar ratio m/n of oxyethylene units to oxypropylene units is greater than 1.

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and electrolytic solution. The capacitor element includes an anode body with an oxide film, and a solid electrolyte contacting the oxide film. The electrolytic solution contains a solvent and a solute. The solvent contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a lactone compound, a glycol compound, and a sulfone compound. A ratio (V/Vw) of a formation voltage V of the oxide film to a rated voltage Vw of the electrolytic capacitor is less than or equal to 1.7.

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, a liquid component, a case housing the capacitor element and the liquid component, and a sealing member sealing the case. the capacitor element includes a porous sintered body including a dielectric layer, a cathode foil facing at least a part of the porous sintered body, and a conductive polymer covering at least a part of a surface of the dielectric layer. The conductive polymer is in contact with the cathode foil. And a void in the capacitor element is impregnated with the liquid component.

A liquid component for an electrolytic capacitor includes at least one central atom selected from the group consisting of boron, aluminum, and silicon, and a ligand having a plurality of ligand atoms bonded to the central atom. The ligand atoms are at least one selected from the group consisting of oxygen and nitrogen, and are bonded to a carbon atom having no oxo group.

A content proportion of the base component in the liquid component is more than or equal to 1% by mass. The aromatic additive includes an electron withdrawing group and an electron donating group. A content ratio of the aromatic additive contained in the liquid component is more than or equal to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the conductive polymer.

Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor including: a capacitor element including a pair of electrodes; an electrolyte interposed between the pair of electrodes; a pair of leads electrically connected to the pair of electrodes, respectively; a case in which the capacitor element and the electrolyte are accommodated, and that has an opening; a sealing member that seals the opening, and has a pair of insertion holes for leading out the leads; an insulating plate having a pair of through holes for leading out the leads; and a resin member filled between the sealing member and the insulating plate, wherein the insulating plate has a resin bonding surface that abuts against the resin member, and a mounting surface opposed to the resin bonding surface, and includes at least one protrusion or recess on the resin bonding surface.
