A perfluoropolyether phosphate ester represented by the general formula:[CFO{CF(CF)CFO}CF(CF)CHO]PO(OH)(wherein n is an integer of 1 to 20). This compound is obtained by reacting a perfluoropolyether alcohol represented by the general formula:CFO{CF(CF)CFO}CF(CF)CHOH(wherein n is an integer of 1 to 20) with phosphorus oxychloride, and hydrolyzing the obtained compound represented by the general formula:[CFO{CF(CF)CFO}CF(CF)CHO]POCl(wherein n is an integer of 1 to 20). Moreover, the perfluoropolyether phosphate ester or a salt thereof forms a surface treatment agent comprising the perfluoropolyether phosphate ester or a salt thereof as an active ingredient.

A polyfluoroalkyl phosphoric acid ester represented by the general formula [CF(CHCF)(CFCF)(CHCH)O]P(O)(OH)[I] n: 1 to 6, a: 1 to 4, b: 1 to 3, c: 1 to 3, m: 1 to 3) or a salt thereof. The polyfluoroalkyl phosphoric acid ester represented by the general formula [I] is produced by subjecting a polyfluoroalkyl alcohol represented by the general formula CF(CHCF)(CFCF)(CHCH)OH [II] (n: 1 to 6, a: 1 to 4, b: 1 to 3, c: 1 to 3) to a dehydration condensation reaction with phosphoric acid. The polyfluoroalkyl phosphoric acid ester can be easily synthesized without passing through dialkyl ester as in the case of phosphonic acid, and used for a mold-releasing agent comprising the same or a salt thereof as an active ingredient.

A mixture of polyfluoroalkene carboxylic acids or salts thereof represented by the general formulas:CFCH&#x2550;CF(CFCF)CFCOOMandCFCF&#x2550;CHCF(CFCF)CFCOOMwherein M is a hydrogen atom, an ammonium salt, an organic amine salt or an alkali metal, n is an integer of 1 to 6 and m is an integer of 0 to 2. The mixture of polyfluoroalkene carboxylic acids or salts thereof is produced by subjecting a polyfluoroalkane carboxylic acids represented by the general formula:CF(CHCF)(CFCF)CFCOOHto a dehydrofluorination reaction in the presence of a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound catalyst, and has a lower critical micelle concentration and less surface tension at that time, therefore, the mixture of polyfluoroalkene carboxylic acids or salts thereof can be effectively used as a surfactant in the polymerization of fluorine-containing monomers.
