A method of fabricating a thin-film transistor substrate including a thin-film semiconductor includes: forming a metal film mainly comprising Cu above a substrate; forming a source electrode and a drain electrode by processing the metal film in a predetermined shape; irradiating the source electrode and the drain electrode with nitrogen plasma; exposing surfaces of a top and an end portion of the source electrode and the drain electrode with silane (SiH) gas; and forming an insulating layer comprising an oxide on the source electrode and the drain electrode.

Method of fabricating thin-film semiconductor substrate

A plasma display panel including a front panel including a front glass substrate, a display electrode formed on the substrate, a dielectric layer formed to cover the display electrode, and a protective layer formed on the dielectric layer; and a rear panel facing the front panel so that discharge space is formed and including an address electrode formed in a direction intersecting the display electrode, and a barrier rib for partitioning the discharge space. Plasma display panel

A plasma display panel includes a front panel including a glass front substrate, a display electrode formed on the substrate, a dielectric layer formed so as to cover the display electrode, and a protective layer formed on the dielectric layer; and a rear panel disposed facing the front panel so that discharge space is formed and including an address electrode formed in a direction intersecting the display electrode and a barrier rib partitioning the discharge space. The protective layer is formed by forming a base film on the dielectric layer and attaching a plurality of crystal particles made of metal oxide to the base film so as to be distributed over an entire surface at a covering rate of not less than 1% and not more than 15%.

A plasma display panel (PDP) includes a front panel having a front glass substrate, a display electrode formed on the substrate, a dielectric layer formed to cover the display electrode, and a protective layer formed on the dielectric layer. Further, the PDP includes a rear panel facing the front panel so that a discharge space is formed, wherein the rear panel includes an address electrode in a direction intersecting the display electrode, and includes a barrier rib partitioning the discharge space. Plasma display panel comprising electric charge retention property

To realize a plasma display panel having display performances of high precision and high brightness with low power consumption, after formation of base film (), a metal oxide paste made of metal oxide particles, an organic component including a photopolymerization initiator, a water-soluble cellulose derivative, and a photopolymerization monomer, and a diluting solvent is applied. By exposing, developing, and firing the paste film, agglomerated particles as a plurality of metal oxide particles agglomerated are formed so as to be attached on base film (). The content of the metal oxide particles included in the metal oxide paste is 1.5% by volume or less.

A plasma display panel including a front panel including front glass substrate, a display electrode formed on the substrate, a dielectric layer covering the display electrode, a protective layer formed on the dielectric layer, and a rear panel facing the front panel so that a discharge space is formed. Further, the rear panel includes an address electrode formed in a direction intersecting the display electrode, and a barrier rib partitioning the discharge space. The protective layer includes a base film on the dielectric layer and aggregated particles of a plurality of aggregated metal oxide crystal particles attached to the base film, such that the aggregated metal oxide crystal particles are distributed over an entire surface. Specifically, the aggregated particles have a distribution of peak intensity values in a spectrum in a wavelength range of not less than 200 nm and not more than 300 nm of a cathode luminescence within 240% of a cumulative average value.

A plasma display device provided with a green color phosphor which is charged entirely with a positive potential, adsorbs only limited amounts of water, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon, and not liable to cause chemical reaction thereto. The present invention relates to a plasma display device and to a method of producing a phosphor to be used for the device, that prevents the phosphor layer from deteriorating, and improves the luminance, life, and reliability, of a plasma display panel (PDP). The plasma display device is equipped with a plasma display panel in which a plurality of discharge cells are arranged, phosphor layers (R,G,B) in color corresponding to each discharge cell are disposed, and phosphor layers (R,G,B) are excited by ultraviolet light to emit light. Green phosphor layer (G) has a green phosphor including ZnSiO:Mn, the element ratio of zinc (Zn) to silicon (Si) at the proximity of its surface is, which is the stoichiometric ratio, and the layer is positively charged or zero-charged.

Plasma display and method of producing phosphor used therein

A plasma display device provided with a green color phosphor which is charged entirely with a positive potential, adsorbs only limited amounts of water, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon, and not liable to cause chemical reacttion thereto. A plasma display device including a green phosphor of which brightness is hardly deteriorated and a production method therefore are disclosed. The plasma display device comprises a plasma display panel in which a plurality of discharge cells of one color or a plurality of colors are disposed, red phosphor layersR, green phosphor layersG, and blue phosphor layersB are arranged correspondingly to the respective discharge cells, and the red phosphor layersR, the green phosphor layersG, and the blue phosphor layersB are excited by ultraviolet rays to emit light. Plasma display device and method of manufacturing same
