A terminalwhich maintains electrical connectivity between a mating terminal and contact spring pieces, reduce size and firmly fixes the contact spring pieces at a terminal main body, includes the conductive, rectangular tube-shaped terminal main bodyinto which the mating terminalis inserted, the plurality of one conductive contact spring piecesextending from one wallto the other wallof the terminal main body and tilted relative to a mating terminal insertion direction, and a plurality of the other conductive contact spring piecesextending from the other wall to the one wall and tilted relative to the insertion direction. The one and the other contact spring piecesare arranged alternatively along the insertion direction. The terminal main body includes a spring memberhaving one and the other basal plate portions, a connecting plate portionconnecting the respective basal plate portions, and an engagement portionat the connecting plate portion which engages with a locking portionof the terminal main body

A connectorincludes: a terminal; an inner housing; and an outer housingreceiving the terminaland the inner housing. The terminalis provided with a first electric connecting partreceived and held in the inner housingand electrically connected to the mating connector, a second electric connecting part, and a flexible coupling partmade of conductive material, movably coupling and electrically connecting the first electric connecting partand the second electric connecting part. The outer housingis provided with a receiving partmovably receiving the inner housingwhich receives the first electric connecting part, and a fixing partto which the second electric connecting partis fixed.
