Image recording apparatus

An image-recording method includes applying an ink to a recording medium and applying a liquid composition to the recording medium. The ink contains a pigment, and the liquid composition disturbs the dispersion state of the pigment in the ink. The applied liquid composition at least partially overlaps the area where the ink is applied. The ink contains a resin particle, a water-soluble resin, and at least one surfactant selected from fluorinated surfactants and silicone surfactants. The surfactant content of the ink is 2% by mass or more based on the total mass of the ink, and the mass ratio of the water-soluble resin content to the surfactant content of the ink is 0.3 or more and 3.0 or less.

Image-recording method and ink set

An image recording method includes an intermediate image-forming step of forming an intermediate image by applying an ink to an intermediate transfer body, a temperature adjusting step, and a transfer step of transferring the intermediate image onto a recording medium in this order. The ink contains polymer particles and a surfactant which is at least one selected from a compound represented by general formula (1) and a compound represented by general formula (2). In the temperature adjusting step, a temperature of the intermediate image is adjusted to a temperature higher than or equal to a minimum film-forming temperature of the polymer particles. A temperature of the intermediate image in the transfer step is lower than the minimum film-forming temperature of the polymer particles.

Image recording method

An image-forming method includes a reaction solution-applying step of applying a reaction solution containing a thickening agent and a colorant-aggregating component aggregating a colorant in ink to an intermediate transfer medium, a first ink-applying step of applying a first ink to the intermediate transfer medium provided with the reaction solution, a second ink-applying step of applying a second ink to the intermediate transfer medium provided with the first ink, and a transfer step of transferring an intermediate image formed on the intermediate transfer medium provided with the second ink to a recording medium. An ink layer formed on the intermediate transfer medium by applying the first ink thereto has a yield value of 0.5 Pa or more.

Image-forming method

An image-recording method includes a liquid composition applying process for applying a liquid composition to an intermediate transfer member, an intermediate image forming process for forming an intermediate image by applying an ink to the intermediate transfer member to which the liquid composition has been applied, and a transferring process for transferring the intermediate image to a recording medium. Liquid-discharging head and method of producing the same

An image recording method includes an intermediate image-forming step of forming an intermediate image by applying an ink to an intermediate transfer body, a temperature adjusting step, and a transfer step of transferring the intermediate image onto a recording medium, in this order. The ink includes polymer particles and a surfactant which is at least one selected from a compound represented by general formula (1) and a compound represented by general formula (2). In the temperature adjusting step, a temperature of the intermediate image is adjusted to a temperature higher than or equal to a cloud point of the surfactant.

Provided is a transfer ink jet recording method, which provides satisfactory transferability and satisfactory wet scratch resistance of a final image even at high printing duty. The transfer ink jet recording method includes using an aggregation liquid, in which the aggregation liquid includes a polymer compound including one of a polyamino acid and a polyamino acid salt each having an amino group, each of which is obtained by polymerization of an amino acid compound represented by the general formula (1).

A transfer type inkjet recording method uses an aggregation liquid, in which the aggregation liquid contains a polyurethane resin having an amino group and the polyurethane resin has a number average molecular weight of 10,000 or more and 1,000,000 or lower and an amine value of 0.5 mmol/g or more and 3.0 mmol/g or lower.
