The purpose of the present invention is to provide a colorectal cancer drug that uses microRNA exhibiting outstanding effectiveness in colorectal cancer patients, particularly colorectal cancer patients having a mutated KRAS gene. miR4689 and/or miR4685-3p can suppress the growth of colorectal cancer cells, particularly colorectal cancer cells having a mutated KRAS gene, and thus exhibit an effective antitumor effect.

Provided is a novel useful microRNA having improved anti-tumor activity, obtained by introducing a variation in a microRNA which is present in-vivo and which exhibits an anti-tumor effect. This microRNA containing a base sequence (SEQ ID NO: 1) obtained by varying a predetermined region of the base sequence of miR-29b is able to exhibit a particularly outstanding anti-tumor effect.

The islet isolation method is characterized in that, by adding a neutrophil elastase inhibitor to the system before the digestion initiation step, the neutrophil elastase inhibitor is present inside the pancreas at the time point of starting the digestion initiation step. By using the above method and a protective solution which can be used in the method, islets having a size and shape suitable for transplantation can be obtained in high yields.
