Adhesion between a temperature detection unit and a segment coil is improved to improve temperature following capability. A stator core, a stator winding wire configured with a plurality of connected segment coils attached to the stator core, and a temperature detection unit that is in contact with the segment coil to detect temperature are provided, and among the segment coils, a segment coil at which the temperature detection unit is disposed is disposed to protrude further than other segment coils disposed alongside.

An object of the present invention is to promote weight reduction while improving torsional stiffness of a motor case of a rotary electric machine. A motor case accommodates a stator, a rotor facing an inner periphery of the stator, and a rotating shaft coupled to the rotor. The motor case includes a peripheral wall which is formed in a tubular shape and has a space accommodating the stator and the rotating shaft on an inside, a flange portion which is formed at one end of the peripheral wall and is coupled to an outside, and damping ribs which are formed at an outer periphery of the peripheral wall, are formed between a position crossing the outer periphery of the peripheral wall and the flange portion on an extension of the rotating shaft in a radial direction from an end portion of the stator, and are constituted by a plurality of ribs.

Therefore, bending after the insertion of the insulating paperis reduced, the force of the insulating papertrying to come off to the coil end tip side is suppressed, and it is possible to obtain the effect of preventing the floating and the coming off of the insulating paper

An object of the present invention is to provide a sealing member that provides high sealability in a coolant flow path. A rotating electrical machine includes a stator core around which a winding is wound, a stator frame that supports the stator core, a housing that is disposed outside the stator frame and forms a flow path space with the stator frame, and a sealing member that is disposed between the stator frame and the housing. The housing includes a mounting portion on which the sealing member is mounted. The sealing member includes a base portion that is in contact with the housing and the stator frame, and an attachment portion that protrudes from the base portion and is inserted to the mounting portion of the housing.

An object of the present invention is to reduce stress caused by press-fitting of a shaft on an outer edge portion side of a rotor. A rotor for a rotating electric machine includes a shaft and a rotor iron core, the shaft coupled to the rotor iron core. The rotor iron core includes: an outer edge portion housing a magnet; an inner edge portion coupled to the shaft; and a rib portion having a lightening portion that is formed inside between the outer edge portion and the inner edge portion. The rib portion includes: a through-hole forming portion connected to the outer edge portion and having a through-hole inside; and a bridge portion connecting the through-hole forming portion and the inner edge portion. The bridge portion includes: a second bridge portion connected to the through-hole forming portion and protruding outward; and a first bridge portion having one end connected to the inner edge portion and another end connected to the second bridge portion. A bent portion is provided at a position connecting the first bridge portion and the second bridge portion.

The degree of freedom in attachment of a temperature sensor is improved. A stator for a rotating electric machine includes: a temperature sensor; and a temperature sensor holder that grips a stator winding portion at a coil end (a portion of a stator winding protruding from both ends of a stator iron core) and the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor holder can be deformed in a direction other than a gripping direction in addition to the gripping direction.

A rotor core is formed by laminating a first steel plate consisting of one or more electromagnetic steel plates having a first protrusion portion to be accommodated in a groove portion of a rotating shaft and a second steel plate consisting of one or more electromagnetic steel plates having a second protrusion portion to be accommodated in the groove portion of the rotating shaft. The first protrusion portion of the first steel plate has a first engaging portion deformed by a side surface of the groove portion of the rotating shaft. At least a part of the first engaging portion of the first steel plate is disposed in a space formed between a second protrusion portion of the second steel plate and the side surface of a groove portion of the rotating shaft.

A stator coil that is wound by concentrated winding and installed in a slot of a stator includes a winding part in which a conductor is wound pitch by pitch around a tooth of the stator and connection terminals which extend from both ends of the winding part. The winding part includes a plurality of unit winding subparts of a rectangular annular shape, a unit winding subpart including a pair of first straight-line segments, a pair of second straight-line segments, and curved corner segments which join the first straight-line segments and the second straight-line segments. In one of the pair of first straight-line segments, incline segments where the conductor is shifted by one pitch toward a winding axis direction are formed. In at least one of the unit winding subparts, a part of an incline segment is made by a part of each of the curved corner segments.

A stator for a rotating electric machine facilitates the assembly of the stator coils and restricts its length in the axial direction. The stator includes a stator iron core having a plurality of teeth and a plurality of stator coils each being wound on one of the teeth. The stator coils include terminal stator coils, each having a crossover wire and a lead wire. Each crossover wire is connected to one of the stator coils of the same phase and each lead wire being is connected to an object other than the stator coils of the same phase. Each end of the crossover wires and the lead wires is disposed at a different level; a first level being the closest to the stator iron core. At least one of the lead wires of the terminal stator coils is disposed at least one level apart within the range of levels.

Each of the ribs includes a plurality of outer rib joints adjacent to the outer area, a plurality of outer rib portions adjacent to the outer area, a plurality of inner rib joints adjacent to the inner area, and a plurality of inner rib portions adjacent to the inner area. The outer rib portions are connected to the inner rib portions and the total number of the inner rib joints is larger than that of the outer rib joints.

Provided is a stator of a rotary electric machine in which a bonding portion of ends of coil segments is formed at a coil end of the stator without being inflated toward the opposite side to a stator core, and the coil end can be minimized in an axial direction. The stator of the rotary electric machine includes a stator core () having a plurality of slots and a coil segment () which is disposed in the stator core to form a stator winding (). The ends of the coil segments are overlapped in the axial direction, and bonded through the bonding portion. The bonding portion is formed in a shape such that the bonding portion is melted and flows down from the end () of the coil segment on the opposite side to the stator core toward the end () of the coil segment on a side near the stator core.
