A coil includes: a series of turns constituted by a first turn to an n-th turn of a conductive wire having a polygonal cross-section, where n is an integer equal to or larger than 3, and the conductive wire is wound in a spiral shape and is stacked in a direction from downward toward upward; and an insulating member disposed on either an upper surface or a lower surface of an i-th turn, where i is an integer satisfying 1&#x2264;i&#x2264;n.

Coil and motor using same

An insulator includes a part to be wound with a coil of a wiring wire with a circular cross section; first and second flanges. The first flange is formed at the side of the part closer to a core segment. The second flange is formed at the side closer to a distal end of a tooth. The part to be wound with the coil has a slope continuous with the first flange and inclined so that a height from an upper surface of the tooth increases from the first flange toward the second flange. Expression 0&#x3c;(&#x2212;6.8 D+b)&#x2264;&#x3b1;&#x3c;30 is satisfied, where b is a constant and 8.3&#x2264;b&#x2264;11.6 is satisfied, D (mm) is a diameter of the coil, and &#x3b1; (&#xb0;) is an angle of the slope inclined from the upper surface of the tooth as a reference surface.

Insulator, and stator and motor comprising same

The invention provides a coil molding attached to a stator of a motor, the coil molding including a coil wound around each of teeth of the stator, and a bus bar connected to the coil and molded integrally with the coil. The invention also provides another coil molding attached to a stator of a motor, the coil molding including a set of coils wound respectively around a plurality of teeth of the stator, the set of coils being molded integrally with each other.

A motor includes a stator including a stator core and teeth respectively protruding from the stator core in predetermined directions of protrusion, and coils respectively wound onto the teeth n (n is an integer of 3 or greater) turns including first to n-th turns. A k-th (k is an integer, 1&#x3c;k&#x3c;n) turn of each of the coils lies at a center of a range wound with each of the coils onto the teeth in a corresponding one of the directions of protrusion of the teeth from the stator core. Each of the first turn and the n-th turn when each of the coils is cut in a corresponding one of the directions of protrusion of the teeth is greater in cross-sectional area than the k-th turn.

Motor

A motor includes a stator including a stator core and teeth respectively protruding from the stator core, and coils respectively wound onto the teeth n (n is an integer of 1 or greater) turns including first to n-th turns. The coils are each made from a conductive member having a polygonal cross section. On a cross section obtained when one of the coils is cut in a corresponding one of directions of protrusion of the teeth from the stator core, the one of the coils includes a recess on at least either a first opposing surface representing an opposing surface to a corresponding one of the teeth or a second opposing surface representing an opposing surface to another one of the coils, which is wound onto adjacent one of the teeth. A space allowing refrigerant used for cooling the coils to pass through is provided between the recess and at least either the first opposing surface or the second opposing surface.

Motor having increased passage for refrigerant for cooling coils

A flying device includes a plurality of rotary vanes, a motor element serving as a driving source for each of the plurality of rotary vanes, the motor element driving and rotating a main shaft of the rotary vanes, and a drive circuit. The motor element includes a stator, a rotor, and a pair of bearings. The stator includes a stator core having an annular yoke and a plurality of teeth projecting inward from the annular yoke, and stator windings wound respectively around the plurality of teeth of the stator core. The rotor includes a permanent magnet of a cylindrical shape located inside the stator core via a gap, the permanent magnet being positioned counter to the plurality of teeth, a rotor yoke in contact with a cylindrical inner wall surface of the permanent magnet, and a shaft pivotally supported at an axis of the rotor yoke, the shaft being connected to the main shaft. The pair of bearings pivotally support the shaft to allow the shaft to rotate freely, and are located respectively on both sides of a direction of a rotating shaft of the rotor. The permanent magnet has anisotropically arranged magnetic poles, and a number of the magnetic poles is P representing an even number. The permanent magnet is configured such that the rotor yoke is smaller in weight than the permanent magnet. The drive circuit controls a stator current supplied to the stator windings.

Flying device

A motor includes a stator core, teeth respectively protruding from the stator core, and coils respectively wound onto the teeth n (n is an integer of 2 or greater) turns including first to n-th turns. Within each of ranges respectively wound with the coils onto the teeth in directions of protrusion of the teeth from the stator core, the first turn of each of the coil lies adjacent to a center of the motor. A k-th (k is an integer, 1&#x3c;k&#x2264;n) turn of each of the coils lies opposite to the center of the motor. The first turn when each of the coils is cut in a corresponding one of the directions of protrusion of the teeth from the stator core is greater in cross-sectional area than each of the k-th turn and the n-th turn.

A motor includes a stator including a stator core and teeth respectively protruding from the stator core, and coils respectively wound onto the teeth n (n is an integer of 3 or greater) turns. In a cross section in a first direction representing each of directions of protrusion of the teeth from the stator core, a k-th (k is an integer, 1&#x3c;k&#x3c;n) turn of each of the coils lies at a center of a range wound with each of the coils onto the teeth in the first direction. The k-th turn of each of the coils is greater in cross-sectional area than each of a first turn and an n-th turn.

A coil includes a series of turns constituted by a first turn to an n-th turn of a conductive wire having a quadrangular cross-section, where the conductive wire is wound in a spiral shape and is stacked in a vertical direction, and n is an integer equal to or greater than 3. In addition, at least a part of the conductive wire of the first turn to the n-th turn is provided with a deformed part whose shape is different from shapes of the other parts. Further, the first turn and the n-th turn are on the both end parts of the series of turns. In addition, at each of the first turn and the n-th turn, the deformed part makes an outer surface positioned on an opposite side with respect to a center of the series of turns extend in a flush manner along a plane intersecting the series of turns.

The invention provides a connection structure between a coil and a bus bar attached to a stator of a motor, and the coil and the bus bar each include a lead part. At least one of the lead parts has a distal end provided with a corner cut away to be stepped to configure a stepped portion having a side surface extending substantially in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the lead part. The coil and the bus bar are connected to each other in a state where the side surface of the stepped portion of a first one of the lead parts is in contact with a second one of the lead parts.

A motor of this invention comprises a rotor having a permanent magnet, the number of which magnet poles is P, and a stator including M pcs of teeth, the teeth arranged in a circumferential direction in a manner to face the permanent magnet through a spatial gap, wherein the stator includes stator core having the number M of the teeth, and a winding wire wound about each of the tooth, wherein the number P of the magnet poles and the number M of the teeth have a relation defined by formulae (2/3)M&#x3c;P&#x3c;(4/3)M, and M&#x2260;P, and wherein ratio (t1/Ds) of teeth tip width t1 to stator inside diameter Ds is given by a formula 0.18&#x3c;(t1/Ds)&#x3c;0.25.

Motor with rotor and stator dimensions for reducing cogging torque and torque ripple

A permanent-magnet-embedded electric motor includes a stator having a coil wound on a stator core, and a rotor disposed rotatably inside the stator through a gap to an inner circumferential surface of the stator core. The rotor is provided with a rotor core formed of laminated steel plates having a plurality of magnet-embedding holes, and a permanent magnet housed and retained in each of the magnet-embedding holes. A thickness of the bridge portions formed between edges of the magnet-embedding holes and an outer circumference of the rotor core, and a thickness of a thinned link portion connecting adjoining two of the bridge portions are thinner than a thickness of the steel plates.

Permanent-magnet-embedded electric motor and method for manufacturing same

Provided is a stator of a motor which is capable of reducing an iron loss generated in a motor and thereby attaining a high-efficient motor. A stator of a motor comprises a yoke of a tubular shape; and teeth each of which includes an extending portion extending inward in a radial direction of the yoke from the yoke and an increased-width portion formed at a tip end of the extending portion so as to have a greater width than the extending portion in a circumferential direction of the yoke; wherein the extending portion has a narrower portion having a smaller width than a remaining portion of the extending portion.

Motor design for reducing cogging torque and torque ripple while maintaining efficiency

A motor stator of the invention is provided with a laminated stator core comprising a plurality of core pieces having teeth and linked by intermediate thin-wall portions. The thin-wall portions are bent to form the stator core into an annular shape with two ends of the stator core joined by welding, and slots are formed between adjoining pairs of the teeth. A welded portion of the stator core is not near a center line in a radial direction of any of the slots.
