An optical unit includes a fixed barrel configured to accommodate a moving barrel configured to hold an optical element configured to form an object image and formed of a nonmagnetic body to be able to advance and retract between a first position and a second position in a direction along an optical axis, a first magnet provided at the fixed barrel and configured to attract the moving barrel in a first direction along the optical axis to hold the moving barrel at the first position, a coil configured to attract the moving barrel in a second direction opposite to the first direction along the optical axis to hold the moving barrel at the second position by a magnetic field generated by being energized, and a second magnet provided at the moving barrel and configured to be attracted by the first magnet and the magnetic field of the coil.

An image pickup unit includes: an image pickup optical system including an optical axis; an image pickup device; a first electric substrate on which the image pickup device is mounted; a second electric substrate formed integrally with the first electric substrate and configured to surround peripheries of the image pickup optical system and the image pickup device and extend in a direction along the optical axis, the second electric substrate including a housing space for housing the image pickup optical system and the image pickup device, a part of the second electric substrate being formed in an arc shape when viewed in a cross section in a vertical direction with respect to the optical axis; and a conductive circuit connecting the first and second electric substrates, and provided from a first surface exposed outside of the second electric substrate to a second surface in the housing space.

An imaging unit includes: a first lens group configured to form a first optical image; a second lens group configured to form a second optical image; an objective lens group having a first region and a second region; a single image sensor configured to generate an image signal; a first holding frame having a first holding hole and a second holding hole; a second holding frame configured to hold the objective lens group; and a third holding frame configured to hold the image sensor. A depth of field of a first optical system formed of the objective lens group and the first lens group is set so as to entirely include a depth of field of a second optical system formed of the objective lens group and the second lens group and to be deeper than the depth of field of the second optical system.

To provide an image pickup unit that can prevent axis deviation of a movable lens barrel and obtain high-quality picked-up image, a stopper member is positioned and fixed in a state in which the stopper member is abutted against an outer circumferential surface of a rear group lens barrel, movement of a movable lens barrel to a retraction side along a photographing optical axis is restricted by contact of a stopper section of the stopper member and an operation rod, and a movable lens is held in a position for realizing a second focal length.

Image pickup unit and endoscope

An image pickup unit includes: a focus switching type observation optical system including fixed lenses and a moving lens; fixed frames that hold the fixed lenses; a moving frame that is arranged to be movable back and forth in a direction along a photographing optical axis of the observation optical system and holds the moving lens; and a correction frame fixed in the fixed frames, configured to house the moving frame such that the moving frame can advance and retract, including a stopper that abuts the moving frame to restrict movement in one direction of the photographing optical axis, and being slightly adjustable to realize one of focal lengths of the observation optical system.

An image pickup system includes a light source apparatus, an objective optical system, an image pickup device, a judging portion configured to judge: an object is observed in which of a distant view and a near view, and an image pickup control portion configured to set a reading mode of the image pickup device according to a judgment result of the judging portion. The light source apparatus is capable of sequentially emitting red light, green light and blue light. The image pickup control portion sets a single pixel reading mode when that the object is observed in the distant view is judged, and blue light is emitted from the light source apparatus, and sets to a pixel addition reading mode when that the object is observed in the distant view is judged, and red light is emitted from the optical apparatus.

Image pickup system

An image pickup unit, includes: a front group lens frame holding a front group lens; a rear group lens frame fitted to the front group lens frame and holding a rear group lens; a movable frame disposed to be movable forward and backward in a direction along a photographing optical axis within the rear group lens frame, and holding a movable lens; an adhesive bonding the front group lens frame to the rear group lens frame; and an adhesive outflow preventing portion preventing the adhesive from flowing out toward the movable frame side when the front group lens frame is bonded and fitted to the rear group lens frame.

An endoscope includes an image pickup unit and a treatment instrument channel. The image pickup unit and the treatment instrument channel are adjacent to each other. The image pickup unit includes an objective lens and an image pickup device. In a pixel formation region of the image pickup unit, a segmentation region is set as a region read out as a region for displaying a video. A center of the segmentation region is disposed to be shifted from a center of the pixel formation region toward the treatment instrument channel. An optical axis of the objective lens is parallel to a center axis of the treatment instrument channel. The center of the segmentation region is located on the optical axis.

An electronic endoscope apparatus includes: an image pickup apparatus mounted at a distal end portion of an insertion portion; an operation portion provided consecutively at the insertion portion, with a frame member incorporated therein; and an electrical cable extended from the operation portion for connection with an external device. In the electronic endoscope apparatus, the frame member has a circuit board portion which establishes electrical connection between shields of the insertion portion and the electrical cable, and on which various electronic parts for exchanging signals with the image pickup apparatus are mounted. In spite of the arrangement of the image pickup apparatus that can acquire high-quality images at a distal end portion of the insertion portion, a size of the apparatus, in particular, a diameter of the insertion portion, can be prevented from being increased.
