Connector

Provided is a floating connector that controls the loss of a relay connector during transportation. A floating connector according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a relay connector and a first connector. The relay connector includes a first terminal and a holding member that holds the first terminal. The first connector includes a second terminal, a housing that accommodates the second terminal and at least part of the holding member, an opening where the relay connector is insertable and formed in a second part in an opposite side to a first part disposed in the housing on a second connector side, and a stopper part formed in the first part of the housing so as to prevent the holding member from coming out of the first part of the housing.

Floating connector and floating connector assembly

A connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector, in which the first connector includes: a first signal terminal; a first fixed part which fixes a first part of the first signal terminal; a first terminal which fixes the first signal terminal with the first fixed part held therebetween; a second fixed part which fixes a second part of the first signal terminal; and a second terminal inside which the first signal terminal is fixed with the second fixed part held therebetween, the second connector includes: a second signal terminal; a third fixed part which fixes the second signal terminal; and a third terminal which fixes the second signal terminal with the third fixed part held therebetween, and since a diameter of the bending part is smaller than a diameter of the second part, the second fixed part is caught on the second part and is retained.

Connector assembly

Provided is a floating connector that maintains the stability of electrical connections and achieves size reduction. A floating connector includes a relay connector and a first connector. The relay connector includes a first terminal having a plurality of contact spring parts, and the plurality of contact spring parts are arranged in a circumferential direction of the first terminal. The first connector includes a second terminal where a tubular part is formed, and a spherical part is formed an inner periphery of the tubular part. The plurality of contact spring parts come into contact with the spherical part in a state of being inserted into the tubular part of the second terminal. a distance from a center of the spherical part to a contact part between each of the contact spring parts and the spherical part of the second terminal is the same.

An electronic device module includes a metallic casing having at least one boss formed therein, an electronic device unit placed inside the casing, connector terminals for external device connection electrically connected to the electronic device unit, and a metallic ground shell disposed so as to surround the connector terminals, having a front surface covered with a metal coated layer and including at least one boss insertion portion formed, a head of the at least one boss inserted into the at least one boss insertion portion and the coated layer positioned on a periphery of the corresponding at least one boss insertion portion being welded to each other to electrically connect and fix the ground shell to the casing.
