In one embodiment, a thin film solid state lithium ion secondary battery is able to be charged and discharged in the air and is able to be manufactured stably at a favorable yield. The thin film solid state lithium ion secondary battery has an electric insulating substrate formed from an organic resin, an inorganic insulating film provided on the substrate face, a cathode-side current collector film, a cathode active material film, a solid electrolyte film, an anode potential formation layer, and an anode-side current collector film. The cathode-side current collector film and/or the anode-side current collector film is formed on the inorganic insulating film face. The anode potential formation layer is a layer formed from the same material as that of the cathode active material film or a material different from that of the cathode active material film and is a layer provided for forming anode potential at the time of discharge.

Thin film solid state lithium ion secondary battery and method of manufacturing the same

A battery includes a plurality of unit batteries arranged in a stacking direction, each unit battery including a battery element portion and at least one connection portion extending from a side of the battery element portion. A plurality of the connection portions extend from a first side of the unit batteries, and a distance in the stacking direction between at least two of said connection portions decreases as said connection portions extend away from the sides of the respective battery element portions.

After the annealing step, a lithium-ion introduction step of introducing lithium ions into the positive-electrode active material film. After the introduction of the lithium ions, a reverse-sputtering step of edging the positive-electrode active material film by reverse sputtering.

The present invention provides a solid-state electrolyte battery using a cathode activating substance which functions as such in an amorphous state and has a high ionic conductivity and provides a cathode activating substance used for the same. This solid-state electrolyte battery includes a laminated body. In the laminated body, a cathode-side current collector film, cathode activating substance film, solid-state electrolyte film, anode potential formation layer and anode-side current collector film are stacked above a substrate in this order. The cathode activating substance film is made of LiMPON, i.e., a lithium complex oxide in an amorphous state.

Optical recording medium and method for manufacturing the same

An optical recording medium is an optical recording medium having an inorganic recording film and has a transparent conductive film on the inorganic recording film. The inorganic recording film has a first recording film containing titanium (Ti) and a second recording film containing an oxide of germanium (Ge). The transparent conductive film is provided on the side of the second recording film. The transparent conductive film contains an oxide of tin (Sn).

Write-once type optical recording medium and fabrication method thereof

A write once optical recording medium has an inorganic recording film which includes an oxide film having germanium oxide (GeO) as a principal component, and a metal film adjacent to the oxide film, the metal film having a titanium/silicon alloy (TiSi) as a principal component. According to this arrangement, it is possible to construct an inexpensive write once optical recording medium with large strength capable of high density recording by using a short wavelength light source and an optical system with a high numerical aperture having excellent characteristics.
