A speaker unit according to an embodiment includes a diaphragm, a frame, and a current plate. The frame supports an outer circumferential portion of the diaphragm. The current plate is provided in the frame so as to be located at a backside of the diaphragm, and its principal surface is arranged in a direction along an amplitude direction of the diaphragm.

An object is to enhance workability in attachment in a sound generating apparatus that generates sound by vibrating a vibration plate with a vibrator while ensuring acoustic performance as good as that achieved by fastening with fine screw threads. Workability in attaching operation is improved while ensuring acoustic performance as good as that provided by fastening with fine screw threads, by providing first fixing portion that brings engagement portions into screw engagement with each other by rotation by a predetermined angle that can be attained by a user without taking his/her hand that holds a coupler off it and second fixing portion for fixing the coupler to a bracket so as to prevent the coupler from rotating relative to said bracket in a direction to loosen the engagement achieved by said first fixing portion.

Attachment structure for a sound generating apparatus

A vehicle audio device includes a vibrator (), a first threaded member (), a second threaded member (), and a ring-shaped resilient member (). The first threaded member () includes a tubular portion (), an external thread () formed on an outer surface of the tubular portion (), and a flange () formed on one end of the tubular portion (). The resilient member () is fitted around the tubular portion () of the first threaded member () so as to axially oppose the flange () of the first threaded member (). The second threaded member () includes a ring-shaped portion () axially opposing the resilient member () from the side of the resilient member () not opposing the flange () of the first threaded member (). A flat speaker comprising a vibrating plate including a spiral voice coil, a lead portion extracted from the vice coil and reinforced by the reinforcing member, and an electric supply line; an edge portion supporting the vibrating plate; and a yoke, supporting the edge portion, on which the permanent magnet arranged to face the voice coil. The flat speakerof the invention includes a vibrating membraneof an insulating base filmwith a spiral or meandering voice coilformed on one or both faces thereof, a permanent magnetarranged on corresponding location facing the voice coil; and a yokeon which the permanent magnetis arranged. The vibrating membraneis avoided from hitting the permanent magnet by providing a perforated sheet on the back face of the yoke to control acoustic resistance.

Flat speaker

An exciter for directly vibrating a board treated for dustproofing and heat dissipation, provided with a vibrator comprised of an outer yoke, a permanent magnet, and inner yoke, having a coil fixed inserted between the outer yoke and inner yoke, and having a coupler member for coupling the exciter to the surface of the board. The coupler member and vibrator are connected by an elastic member. A closed space is formed in the exciter by providing a sealing member between the outer yoke and coupler member. A through hole is formed in the outer yoke. Due to the vibration of the vibrator at the time of coil excitation, air convection is caused through the through hole between the closed space and the outside space.

An exciter for directly vibrating a board, which enables a sufficient rotational torque to be obtained by a work tool at the time of attachment or detachment, provided with a magnetic circuit unit having an outside yoke comprised of a side wall and a bottom, a permanent magnet fastened to the bottom, and an inside yoke and with a coil inserted into a clearance between the side wall and inside yoke, the magnetic circuit unit being vibratably supported at the coupler member by elastic members, the coupler member being screwed with the bracket member fastened to the surface of the board, two parallel flat surfaces engaging with ends of a work tool being provided at an outer circumference of the outside yoke, and the work tool being turned to attach/detach the coupler member with respect to the bracket member.
