A press-working apparatus capable of forming a clear character line. The press-working apparatus forms a product having a character line. The press-working apparatus comprises an upper die and a lower die arranged across a steel sheet, an upper die mechanism for moving the upper die toward and away from the lower die, a first holder and a second holder for clamping the steel sheet and applying an unwrinkling force to the same, and a control unit for controlling the upper die mechanism and the first holder. The upper die is divided on the character line of the product into a first upper die and a second upper die. The control unit makes the unwrinkling force by the first holder stronger than that by the second holder, so that the steel sheet is press-worked by the second upper die and then by the first upper die.

Press-working method, and press-working apparatus

A forming speed determination method for determining a forming speed of a press-processing device with a plurality of measurement points on a sheet material to conduct press-forming of the sheet material with a press-processing device at a predetermined forming speed. Strain states at respective points on the press-formed sheet material are plotted on a forming limit diagram including the forming limit curve of a sheet material to produce a strain distribution chart. Subsequently, the closest point to the forming limit curve among the points is defined as a specific measurement point. When this specific measurement point is located in the bulge region, the forming speed of a press-processing device is decreased to be slower than the above-mentioned predetermined forming speed. Meanwhile, when this specific measurement point is located in the draw region, the forming speed of a press-processing device is increased to be faster than the above-mentioned predetermined forming speed.

Forming condition determination method and forming condition determination system

In a press working apparatus, while a servo motor is acting, an upper die is made to come close to a lower die and press working of the first time is conducted on a steel plate. A slider is raised to a movable punch preparation position. A movable punch is protruded from a die face of the upper die by width and locked by a mechanical lock. The upper die is made to come close to the lower die again and the steel plate is pushed with the upper die and at the same time an additional worked portion is pushed and deformed with the movable punch so as to conduct press working of the second time. After the movable punch has been retracted, the slider is raised.

A front cross memberof a rear subframehas a recessed portionwhich is recessed continuously over a longitudinal direction thereof. The recessed portionis formed at a lower portion of the cross memberand is recessed upwardly, and an elastic bushis fitted in a resulting recess. The elastic bushhas an elastic elementwhich connects together an inner tubeand an outer tubewhich surrounds the inner tubeand is mounted on the rear subframeat the recessed portionas a bracket. The brackethas bracket plate portionswhich each have a plane which is brought into contact with an end face of the inner tube and folded-back portions. The bracketis disposed in such a manner as to hold therein both ends of the inner tubeand is configured such that the elastic bushis mounted thereon by passing a boltthrough the inner tube

A bulging apparatus has a heating station, a tube expanding station, a preforming station, and a main forming station. A straight tube as a workpiece is gripped by first holding mechanisms or second holding mechanisms, and delivered between the stations as the first holding mechanisms or second holding mechanisms are displaced. During a preforming process and a main holding process, both the first holding mechanisms and second holding mechanisms can be lifted and lowered vertically and can be moved horizontally.
