An edible IJ ink that has good dispersion stability and printing resumability (intermission resumability), dries quickly, and provides good print quality (for example, prevents streaking), and to provide a tablet and a capsule including a printed part printed using the edible IJ ink, the edible IJ ink comprises water, titanium oxide, a dispersant, a wetting agent, and a water-soluble polysaccharide having a weight average molecular weight smaller than 10,000, and the dispersant includes at least one of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium alginate, and sodium carbonate.

Edible IJ ink, tablet, and capsule

An inkjet ink in which a food color containing at least sodium copper chlorophyllin and a pigment other than sodium copper chlorophyllin is dispersed in a dispersion medium containing propylene glycol, and which prevents the occurrence of precipitation of the pigment components or other components even when the inkjet ink is stored for a long period of time, and there is also provided a tablet having a print pattern printed by the inkjet ink. The inkjet ink of the present embodiment, which is edible, comprises a food color containing at least sodium copper chlorophyllin and a pigment other than sodium copper chlorophyllin, and a dispersion medium containing propylene glycol, and has a propylene glycol content in the range of 0.001 mass % or more and 19 mass % or less relative to the total mass of the inkjet ink.

Inkjet ink and tablet

An inkjet ink that shows only a small amount of discoloration over time and is capable of printing with a stable color, not only when printed on a surface of a print object having a relatively low ink permeability, but also when printed on a surface of a print object having a relatively high ink permeability, and provide a printed item including a printed area printed using the inkjet ink. A gray ink according to the present embodiment is an edible inkjet ink which contains at least a first colorant which is a food dye and a second colorant which is a food dye, and the first colorant is at least one of Red No. 3, Red No. 40, Red No. 104, Red No. 105, and Red No. 106.
