Provided is a pressure-sensitive element having a relatively wide measurement range of a pressing force and a relatively simple structure while having more sufficient stretchability. A pressure-sensitive element includes a base material, a plurality of conductor wires, a plurality of dielectrics, and a filamentous member. The base material includes an elastic conductor having elasticity and conductivity. Further, the base material has a sheet shape. The plurality of conductor wires are arranged in parallel so as to individually intersect with the elastic conductor in plan view. Further, each of the plurality of conductor wires has a plurality of inflection parts. The plurality of dielectrics are arranged between the elastic conductor and the plurality of conductor wires. The filamentous member elongates so as to intersect with the plurality of conductor wires in plan view. Further, the filamentous member sews the plurality of conductor wires to the base material.

Pressure-sensitive element

A capacitance detection device includes: a sensor unit including a plurality of sensor elements; row control lines; column control lines; a control circuit supplying a charging voltage to the sensor element; and an equipotential circuit outputting a potential equal to the potential of the sensor element subject to measurement. The control circuit applies a charging voltage to the row control line connected to the sensor element and connects the column control line connected to the sensor element to the ground potential side. The control circuit causes the equipotential circuit to set a potential of at least one of the row control lines other than the row control line connected to the sensor element subject to measurement and the column control lines other than the column control line connected to the sensor element subject to measurement to a potential equal to the potential of the sensor element subject to measurement.

Capacitance detection device

A capacitance detection device includes a sensor unit including at least one sensor element whose capacitance changes, a control line applying to the sensor element a predetermined charging voltage for detecting the capacitance of the sensor element, a shield line electrically shielding the control line, a control circuit supplying the charging voltage to the sensor element via the control line, measuring a voltage change of the sensor element when the charging voltage is applied to the sensor element, and detecting the capacitance of the sensor element based on the voltage change, and an equipotential circuit setting a potential of the shield line equal to a potential of the control line.

Pressure-sensitive element is provided with pressure-sensitive part that receives pressing force and detector that detects the pressing force, and has a structure described below. That is, pressure-sensitive part has first conductive member that has elasticity, second conductive member, and dielectric body. Dielectric body is disposed between first conductive member and second conductive member, and at least partially covers the surface of first conductive member or second conductive member. Detector detects pressing force based on a variation in electrostatic capacitance between first conductive member and second conductive member.
