The invention discloses an overcurrent protection circuit, coupled to a DC bus between first and second DC ends, the DC bus including positive bus and negative bus, and the circuit including: a main protection branch connected in series with the positive or negative bus, and including first and second protection switches connected in series and connected to a first node; a freewheeling switch branch having two ends, one end being connected to the first node, the other end being connected to an opposite bus to the main protection branch; a detection unit coupled to the DC bus for detecting a voltage or a current of the DC bus to output an overcurrent detection signal; and a control unit coupled to the detection unit and the main protection branch, and configured to control the main protection branch according to the overcurrent detection signal.

The present invention discloses a flying capacitor converter, a short circuit current suppression circuit for the same and an energy storage system. The flying capacitor converter comprises a controller, and has a high voltage side connected to a first power source and a low voltage side connected to a second power source. The short circuit current suppression circuit comprises: at least one current detection unit connected to the low voltage side and/or the high voltage side of the flying capacitor converter; and at least one switch set connected in series to the high voltage side and/or the low voltage side of the flying capacitor converter, wherein the controller controls the switch set to cut off a connection between the flying capacitor converter and the first power source and/or between the flying capacitor converter and the second power source, when the current detection unit detects a short circuit.

The present disclosure relates to a DC converter, a DC converter group and a method of connecting the DC converter group. The DC converter includes a DC conversion circuit converting a DC input voltage into a DC output voltage, and a filter module electrically coupled to an input end and an output end of the DC conversion circuit. The filter module includes an input inductor component electrically coupled to the input end of the DC conversion circuit, and an output inductor component electrically coupled to the output end of the DC conversion circuit, wherein the input inductor component and the output inductor component share the same magnetic core.
