A method is provided for removing silver mirroring from the surface of a black-and-white negative film by: mixing 80-100 parts by mass of triethanolamine, 0-10 parts by mass of glycerol and 0-10 parts by mass of a surfactant uniformly under stirring to produce a silver mirroring remover, where the surfactant is one or more of isomeric tridecanol polyoxyethylene (8) ether, polyethylene glycol 200, polyethylene glycol 400 or alkylphenol polyoxyethylene (10) ether; applying the silver mirroring remover onto the region of the surface of the negative film, where the silver mirroring occurs, allowing the film to stand for at least 30 minutes, and then blotting up the residual solution on the negative film; and soaking the negative film in n-butanol and cleaning it, and then blotting the residual solvent on the negative film, followed by air drying, to complete the removal of silver mirroring on the surface of the negative film.

A method of stripping films which are stuck together without damage is disclosed. The whole reel of films which are stuck together is placed in a sealing device with outlet valves. Liquid nitrogen is added at a bottom of the sealing device. The films are stripped off by a flow of gas through gaps between the layers of the films while the vaporization of liquid nitrogen. The present invention adopts a natural force of liquid nitrogen vaporization to strip the films, which does not compromise the PH value, the dimensional performance and the mechanical performance of the films. The films are stripped off without damage. The conventional method of stripping the films causes the fragile film to break off or the image layer with a decreased combing power to detach. The present invention has the advantages of simple operation, low cost and good promotion value.

The present invention discloses a restoration solution for cine film bubble and a restoration method. The restoration solution comprises 100 parts by volume of n-butanol, 60 to 120 parts by volume of lacquer thinner having 5% by mass of ethyl cellulose, 8 to 20 parts by volume of diphenyl isooctyl phosphite, 2 to 10 parts by volume of bis (1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate, and 2 to 15 parts by volume of petroleum ether. The present invention integrates micro-restoration, bubble puncture and optical filling, and effectively restores a bubble having a diameter of 0.1 mm to 1 mm generated between a film base layer and an emulsion layer of a cine film. The present invention has advantages of simple method of operation, low cost and good controllability. And the used restoration solution has good thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and permeability, and can eliminate the phenomenon of light scattering within the bubble, so that patterns and writing of the original image data are explicitly presented, and a better restoration effect is achieved without damages to films. Therefore, the restoration solution has good application values and market prospects.

A shape-restoring device and a restoring method for distorted filmstrips are proposed for restoring filmstrips that are distorted due to vinegar syndrome. During the implementation of the method, the air compressor is started such that pressure reaches 0.6-0.9 MPa; three-way valves are regulated so as to introduce pressure into film-clasping cylinders and pressing-plate cylinders via diverter valves; the cylinder spindles of the film-clasping cylinders move the upper collets fixedly connected therewith, for fixing filmstrips; the cylinder spindles of the pressing-plate cylinders move the pressing plate fixedly connected therewith such that the binding underlay on the lower surface of the pressing plate contacts the heating plate; in this way, pressuring, heating and restoring are carried out. Through steps of pressing, heating, fixing filmstrips, shape-restoring and transporting the distorted filmstrips under the pressure of 0.5-0.8 MPa and the temperature of 80-90&#xb0; C. for 50-80 s, the distorted filmstrips can be restored segment by segment.
