A reverse trigger system of multiple access point (multi-AP) operation and an Access Point (AP) are provided. The reverse trigger system includes: a common station; an initializer AP configured to send a trigger announcement to the common station, wherein the common station sends a trigger frame in response to receiving the trigger announcement; and at least one first coordinated AP configured to send first data in response to receiving the trigger frame, wherein the initializer AP is configured to send second data in response to receiving the trigger frame. Embodiments of the present disclosure may enable joint and synchronous data transmission between APs which cannot communicate with each other directly.

The method includes: during multi-link transmission, duplicating a first failed data packet in a transmission window to at least one other link of multiple links, wherein the multiple links include a first link on which the first failed data packet is transmitted and the at least one other link; and retransmitting the first failed data packet on the at least one other link and the first link, wherein the first failed data packet is a data packet whose transmission does not succeed and which has a smallest sequence number in the transmission window. Embodiments of the present disclosure may mitigate data packet transmission blocking caused by failed data packets in a WLAN multi-link system.

The method includes: determining a portion of a plurality of links as dedicated link, and the other portion of the plurality of links as ordinary link, wherein the dedicated link is configured to transmit control frames which include ordinary control frames and dedicated control frames, and the ordinary link is configured to transmit data frames and ordinary control frames; determining links for control frames to be transmitted and data frames to be transmitted; and when the dedicated link or the ordinary link obtains a transmission opportunity, transmitting a control frame or a data frame at a head of a queuing list of the link. By configuring the dedicated link, transmission efficiency of the control frames may be improved, compatibility with existing systems is relatively good, and complexity of design is relatively low.

The method is applied in a multi-link Wi-Fi system including multiple links each of which includes a queuing list for determining a transmission order of data frames in the link, and the method includes: when a first link obtains a transmission opportunity, transmitting, on the first link, a first data frame at a head of the queuing list of the first link; if transmission of the first data frame does not succeed, restoring ranking of the first data frame in queuing lists of links in a retransmission link set, or arranging the first data frame at heads of the queuing lists of the links; and when any link in the retransmission link set obtains a new transmission opportunity and the first data frame is at a head of a queuing list of the link, retransmitting the first data frame on the link.

Transmission efficiency may be improved.
