To provide an anode material configured to increase the reversible capacity of lithium ion secondary batteries, and a method for producing the anode material. The anode material is an anode material for lithium ion secondary batteries, comprising a P element and a C element and being in an amorphous state.

Anode material and method for producing the same

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an anode active material having excellent electron conductivity and ion conductivity. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing an anode active material to be used for a lithium ion battery, the anode active material including at least a Sr element and a S element, and a Perovskite type of crystal phase belonging to a space group of I4/mmm, and a molar ratio of the S element with respect to the Sr element is larger than 0.1.

When spinel-type lithiated cobalt oxide is employed for a cathode active material for a lithium ion battery, a sufficient discharge capacity is not always obtained. Thus, spinel-type lithiated cobalt oxide is doped with at least chromium, and specifically, a cathode active material for a lithium ion battery includes a spinel-type crystal phase including lithium, cobalt, chromium and oxygen, and the cathode active material has a composition represented by LiCoCrMOwhere M is at least one selected from Al and Mn, and 0.85&#x2264;x&#x3c;1, 0&#x3c;y&#x2264;0.15, 0&#x2264;z, and 0.85&#x3c;x+y+z&#x2264;1.2.

An all-solid-state battery which includes an anode layer that contains a Si-based material as an anode active material and which has high energy density. Provided is an all-solid-state battery including a cathode layer, an anode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the cathode layer and the anode layer, wherein the anode layer includes an anode active material that contains at least one Si-based material selected from the group consisting of Si and a Si alloy, and a solid electrolyte that contains a sulfide-based solid electrolyte; wherein a void surrounded by the solid electrolyte is present in at least a region formed by the solid electrolyte in the anode layer; and wherein, when a total volume of the anode layer is determined as 100 vol %, a percentage of the voids surrounded by the solid electrolyte in the anode layer, is 3.4 vol % or more and 29.6 vol % or less.
