An apparatus, method and computer program product are caused at least to perform: controlling a touch sensitive display to display a first graphical item at a first position and a second graphical item at a second position, the second graphical item being separated from the first graphical item by a first distance; detecting a first user digit at the first position and a second user digit at the second position; reducing the first distance by moving at least one of the first and second graphical items across the touch sensitive display, in response to detecting movement, across the touch sensitive display, of at least one of the first and second user digits; and controlling the touch sensitive display to display a third graphical item, after determining the first distance has been reduced such that the first graphical item is proximate the second graphical item.

An approach is provided for performing multiple and hybrid forms of communication in the same communication session. A communication manager receives a to establish a communication session using a first form of communication, wherein the communication session supports multiple and simultaneous forms of communication. Next, the communication manager selects a second form of communication to conduct the communication session. Then, the communication manager transcodes the second form of communication to the first form of communication. The different forms can be converted to facilitate and enrich the communication capability, according to an embodiment of the invention.

Method and apparatus for performing multiple forms of communications in one session

A method for capturing an image may include receiving a start command, determining whether one or more predefined conditions are satisfied, and capturing an image when the predefined conditions are satisfied. The start command and/or the predefined conditions may be dependent on an audible signal. The predefined conditions may include predetermined reception angles of the audible signal, ratios of foreground to background, and/or reception of a remote control signal. The method may also require that no visual feature is occluded. Individualized feedback may be provided which can direct a specific person within an image to correct a failed predefined condition. An apparatus and computer program product corresponding to the method are also provided.
