A method is disclosed and includes communicating, by a bridge apparatus comprising a controller via a contact interface in the bridge apparatus, with a portable device. The method also includes transmitting, by a first antenna of the bridge apparatus, a wireless signal comprising a contact protocol indicator to a second antenna of a user device. The method also includes receiving, by the bridge apparatus via the first antenna, a contact command in a contactless protocol. The method also includes converting, by the controller in the bridge apparatus, the contact command to a contact protocol. The method also includes providing, by the controller in the bridge apparatus, the contact command in the contact protocol to the portable device via the contact interface.

Embodiments provide for a method of allowing for communication between a portable device comprising a portable device NFC antenna and a user device comprising a user device NFC antenna using a bridge apparatus comprising a large coil, a small coil, and an amplifier circuit electrically coupling the large coil and the small coil. The method includes the small coil in the bridge apparatus receiving a near field communication (NFC) signal from the user device NFC antenna. The amplifying circuit can amplify the NFC signal to obtain an amplified NFC signal. The large coil in the bridge apparatus can transmit, to the portable device NFC antenna, the amplified NFC signal.

The method also includes receiving payment device data for a transaction requested between an account associated with the payment device and an account of a merchant. The method may include communicating, to a customer device, installment payment data associated with a plurality of installment payment options. A first authorization request for a payment transaction with a customer may be received from a merchant system. A first lender system associated with the first installment payment option may be determined. A second authorization request, which may include the first installment payment data, may be communicated to the first lender system. Method, system, and computer program product for providing installment payment options for a payment transaction

Methods and systems are disclosed for enabling transaction processing utilizing a single device. A mobile device can store an application comprising first and second software modules. One module may execute acceptance processing while another software module may emulate a transaction device associated with a user. One or more identifiers (e.g., QR codes, bar codes) may be obtained corresponding to one or more physical items. Authorization may be requested via the mobile device. In response, data may be exchanged between the software modules and this data (e.g., transaction data, a payment token, a cryptogram, etc.) may be provided to a remote computer (e.g., a cloud based acceptance service) that can generate an authorization request message for the transaction.

A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a user device from the access device, a routing path list comprising a first set of network nodes. After receiving the routing path list, the user device determines a routing options list comprising a second set of network nodes based on the first set of network nodes in the routing path list. The method also includes obtaining an encrypted credential or token, and transmitting, by the user device to the access device, the routing options list, and the encrypted credential or token to the access device. Described herein are a system and techniques for conducting transactions upon receiving a biometric sample from a user. In some embodiments, a security device obtains a biometric sample from a user. The security device then provides the biometric sample, or a biometric template derived therefrom, to a service provider, which is able to identify and authenticate the user based on the biometric sample. The service provider then obtains access credential and/or supplemental information for the user and provides it to the security device. The security device is then capable of completing a transaction using the received access credential data. In some embodiments, this may involve generating a cryptogram to be used in the transaction.

A method conducted using a mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device comprises a contactless application including a bridging module, a computer readable medium comprising a contactless kernel, wherein the contactless kernel includes a transceiver interface coupled to a processor. The mobile device includes a contactless element coupled to the processor. The method includes receiving a trigger signal indicative of a transaction to be executed. In response to receiving the trigger signal, the contactless kernel transmits first data to the bridging module. The contactless kernel is operable in a first mode of communication. The bridging module transforms the first data in the first mode of communication to first data in a second mode of communication and passes the first data to the contactless element. The contactless element transmits the first data to a user device, and thereafter receives second data from the user device to execute the transaction.

A method for testing an interaction system response to different types of interaction devices is disclosed. A testing computer can execute various sets of interaction device logic during different test interaction. The testing computer can electronically communicate with an access device during test interaction through a conduit mobile device. As a result, the testing computer can electronically communicate with the access device even when the testing computer is remotely located.

The access device receives the secret. The access device receives an initial communication then a user device certificate comprising a public key from the user device. The access device then verifies the certificate. The access device concatenates at least the secret and an unpredictable number to form a concatenated value. The access device encrypts the concatenated value with the public key, then transmits the encrypted concatenated value. The user device decrypts the encrypted concatenated value with a private key, verifies the unpredictable number, verifies the secret, determines whether or not the interaction is approved, produces an interaction authorization result, and then provides the interaction authorization result to the contactless access device. The access device receives the interaction authorization result.
