Provided are compositions comprising an aqueous solution of at least one cyclopropene and at least one sugar. Also provided are methods of using such compositions for inhibiting an ethylene response in a plant.

A composition comprising (a) a non-aqueous pourable fluid, (b) droplets dispersed in said pourable fluid (a), wherein said droplets comprise (i) a non-aqueous continuous phase that is a solid or that is a liquid of high viscosity and (ii) solid particles dispersed in said continuous phase (i), wherein said solid particles (ii) have median size as measured by the largest dimension of 100 micrometers or less, and wherein said solid particles (ii) comprise one or more cyclopropene compound and one or more molecular encapsulating agent. A polymeric encapsulated fragrance is disclosed which is suitable for use in personal care and cleaning products. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fragrance is encapsulated by a first polymer material to form a fragrance encapsulated polymer, the polymer encapsulated shell is then coated with a mixture of cationic polymers, in a preferred embodiment the coating polymers are a reaction product of polyamines (including 1H-imidazole) and (chloromethyl) oxirane or (bromomethyl) oxirane.

A polymeric encapsulated fragrance is disclosed which is suitable for use in personal care and cleaning products. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the fragrance is encapsulated by a first polymer material to form a fragrance encapsulated polymer, the polymer encapsulated shell is then coated with a cationic polymer, preferably a cationic starch and guar.

The present invention is directed to encapsulated fragrance materials. The fragrance materials are comprised of high Clog P materials or high Clog P fragrance materials along with high Clog P solvent materials. The encapsulated fragrance and solvent materials can then be further coated with a second coating, preferably a cationic coating. The selective use of solvents enables the fragrance and fragrance materials to remain in the capsules for extended periods of time without leaching from the capsule. The leaching of the flavor or fragrance materials is a problem especially in products that contain a high loading of surfactant or emulsifying materials such as laundry and oral care products.

The polymeric particles have infrastructures composed of ethylene-vinyl copolymers, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene and/or ethylcellulose. Also described are aqueous treatment compositions for use in such processes.
