An audio signal processing device and an audio signal adjusting method thereof. The audio signal processing device includes a gain determining circuit and an audio signal processing circuit. The gain determining circuit receives an analog audio signal. The gain determining circuit determines a gain based on a difference between a predefined threshold and an amplitude of the analog audio signal in response to detecting that a current sampling amplitude of the analog audio signal is greater than the predefined threshold. The audio signal processing circuit is coupled to the gain determining circuit and receives the analog audio signal and the gain. The audio signal processing circuit attenuates the analog audio signal according to the gain to generate an output audio signal.

A WLAN player for synchronizing playing speed includes a speed adjusting module, which is adapted to adjust a speed that the WLAN player plays a medium according to a first playing-progress value and a first clock value of another WLAN player, so as to synchronously play the medium together with said another WLAN player. The WLAN player has a second playing-progress value and a second clock value. The speed adjusting module is configured to calculate a progress difference between the second playing-progress value and the first playing-progress value; calculate a time difference between the second clock value and the first clock value; calculate a specific progress difference according to the progress difference and the time difference; and adjust the speed that the WLAN player plays the medium according to the specific progress difference. The calibration and optimization for the tap coefficients of the FIR filter is according to differences between the electrical characteristics the DAC convertor and the LPF in the first signal path and differences between the DAC convertor and the LPF in the second signal path. These differences are obtained when the data transmission has not yet started by the transmitter (that is, when the transmitter is working in a training mode).

Disclosed are a calibration method and a calibration circuit. The calibration method and the calibration circuit effectively calibrate the mismatches between the first signal path and the second signal path of a receiver by calibrating a plurality of tap coefficients of a finite impulse response filter configured in the second signal path and optimizing the tap coefficients. The calibration and optimization for the tap coefficients of the finite impulse response filter is according to differences between the electrical characteristics the analog-to-digital convertor and the LPF in the first signal path and differences between the analog-to-digital convertor and the LPF in the second signal path. These differences are obtained when the data reception has not yet started by the receiver (that is, when the receiver is working in a training mode).
